The facility includes five patient rooms, a laboratory, a 2 – 8 °C refrigerator, a freezer, and secured ambient storage. The site is fully equipped to support clinical trials and is staffed by an experienced, bilingual team dedicated to protocol adherence, participant safety, and timely enrollment.

Dr. Gabriel Maislos, DPM, FACFAS, FAENS, is an award-winning, board-certified podiatrist at Houston Foot and Ankle Care, recognized not only for his clinical expertise but also for his strong commitment to advancing podiatric medicine through research. Over the past 13 years, Dr. Maislos has served as a Principal Investigator on more than 30 clinical studies, with a focus on key therapeutic areas such as diabetic foot complications, wound care, pain management, and venous insufficiency. His research experience spans all phases of clinical trials, reflecting a comprehensive understanding of study design, execution, and patient-centered outcomes.

Dr. Linda Nachmani earned her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Binghamton before obtaining her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her podiatric residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center and further advanced her surgical training through a residency in Podiatric Surgery with the Houston Podiatric Foundation. Since 2020, Dr. Nachmani has served as a Sub-Investigator in clinical research, contributing to the execution of studies within podiatric and related therapeutic areas. She holds Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification, demonstrating her commitment to maintaining the highest standards in clinical research, regulatory compliance, and patient safety.

Elaine Chavira has been actively involved in clinical research since 2015, bringing extensive experience across multiple facets of study operations, including patient recruitment, coordination, and site management. She earned her Associate of Science degree in 2015 and has since developed a broad research portfolio spanning dermatology, vaccines, pediatrics, weight management, and podiatry. Elaine is both Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and AITA certified, reflecting her commitment to maintaining high standards in clinical trial conduct and patient safety. She also played an active role in COVID-19 vaccine clinical trials, navigating the unique operational challenges these studies presented while contributing to critical, time-sensitive research efforts. With a strong passion for advancing medicine, she plays a key role in supporting efficient study execution and contributing to high-quality research outcomes.
