This study aims to investigate the prevalence and impact of Candida albicans in Syrian patients diagnosed with periodontitis, contributing to a better understanding of its role in oral health within this population.

Periodontal Assessment and Sample Collection from Subgingival Pockets
Clinical examination to assess periodontal status. Collection of subgingival plaque samples for microbiological analysis to identify Candida Albicans.
