Is the Mines Modified PERFECT Scheme (MMPS) a Valid Tool for Assessing PFM Function?

Summary

When performing our tests, we received verbal/written informed consent from all subjects prior to performing an internal/external testing. The subjects were cisgender females with no preexisting pelvic floor conditions noted. The subjects were assessed in two separate areas with a different experimenter testing the same subject. The subject was first tested with Laycock and Jerwood PERFECT Scheme by one experimenter and the same subject was then tested after 5 minutes rest with the MMPS by a separate experimenter. The results of each test were kept from both experimenters and the data was kept on a separate personal laptop. After testing was complete, the data was taken and provided to a professional statistician to be able to determine the validity of the MMPS, when compared to the Laycock and Jerwood PERFECT Scheme.
