A questionnaire titled "Physicians' adherence to the current clinical guidelines for the management of patients with type two diabetes mellitus and obesity" was formed, consisting of two sections and 18 closed-ended questions in total. Τhe first part focused on demographics and included four questions, while the second addressed the frequency of adherence to clinical guidelines and consisted of fourteen questions. A 5-point Likert scale, ranging from 'never', 'rarely' (1 - 2 times a month), 'sometimes' (1 - 2 times a week), 'frequently' (3 - 4 times a week) to 'always' (everyday), was used for the 14 questions, aiming to quantify the frequency of implementation. An introductory statement accompanied the questionnaire to provide study details and guarantee anonymous responses.
