Music-Accompanied Nature Imagery on Blood Pressure and Pain in Intensive Care Unit Patients

Summary
The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of viewing nature imagery accompanied by music on blood pressure and pain in intensive care unit patients compared with standard care. The questions to be answered within the scope of the research are: Does viewing nature imagery accompanied by music affect blood pressure in intensive care unit patients compared with standard care? Does viewing nature imagery accompanied by music affect pain levels in intensive care unit patients compared with standard care? Participants will: The patients will be divided into two groups: an intervention group and a control group. The intervention group will Patients in the intervention group will be exposed to nature imagery accompanied by music once daily for 30 minutes over five consecutive days. Blood pressure and pain levels will be assessed before, during, and after each session. The control group will continue with routine intensive care unit follow-up treatments.

Viewing Nature Imagery Accompanied by Music
As part of the non-invasive intervention to be administered to the intervention group, patients will be shown nature and landscape visuals accompanied by music once daily for 30 minutes over a total of five consecutive days. The intervention will consist of nature-themed visuals-such as forests, seas, lakes, and waterfalls-paired with relaxing, instrumental, and wordless music played at a tempo of 60-80 beats per minute (BPM). Classical music compositions by Vivaldi will be selected for the musical component.
