Markerless Motion Capture in Foot and Ankle Surgery
Sponsor: Balgrist University Hospital
Summary
Proof of Concept: ROM measured by the markerless system compared to clinical examination using a goniometer and motion capture analysis. The ROM of the ankle joint in the sagittal plane and the ROM of the subtalar joint in coronal plane of 20 healthy subjects will be analysed using three different methods: Clinical examination using a goniometer, Markerbased motion capture system, Markerless movement analysis. ROM measurements will be performed on both feet of 20 participants (40 feet total). Each measurement method will be performed 10 times per foot. Goniometer measurements will be performed by two independent investigators (10 measurements each), while marker-based and marker-less measure
