A Survey of Public Attitudes Towards Gallbladder-preserving Lithotomy and Its Influencing Factors

Summary
This study aims to understand public/patient attitudes toward gallbladder preservation surgery by means of questionnaires, and hopes to achieve the following objectives: 1. To understand public/patient attitudes towards gallbladder preservation surgery and provide new evidence for the controversy over gallbladder preservation surgery; 2. Introduce a new kind of "evidence" into this controversy: social or preference evidence; 3. Verify the applicability of informed choice and shared decision making; 4. Provide "public opinion" reference for medical policy and guideline formulation ,and help them develop guidelines or policies that are more in line with patients 'needs; 5. Help clinicians understand patients 'concerns, provide basis for making more scientific individualized treatment decisions, and promote the standardization process of diagnosis and treatment of benign gallbladder diseases. The survey will be conducted in the Second People's Hospital of Changzhou City from July 2026 to December 2026 in the form of questionnaire (electronic questionnaire). The questionnaire will be distributed to all regions of the Chinese mainland, and will be conducted daily by in-hospital doctors and designated questionnaire collectors.
