Doppler Ultrasound Evaluation of the Effects of Exercise Combined With Kinesiology Taping on Local Hemodynamic Parameters

Sponsor: China Medical University Hospital

View on ClinicalTrials.gov

Summary

This study aims to evaluate the effects of exercise combined with kinesiology taping on local hemodynamic parameters in healthy university students. Doppler ultrasound will be used to assess local blood flow and hemodynamic responses associated with the intervention. Participants will perform the exercise protocol with kinesiology taping, and hemodynamic parameters will be assessed to determine whether the combined intervention produces changes in local circulation. The study is designed to provide a better understanding of the acute circulatory responses to exercise combined with kinesiology taping.

Interventions

OTHER

Kinesiology Taping

Participants will perform ankle pumping exercise in a semi-reclined position with both lower limbs relaxed, the knees slightly flexed, and the heels supported. Each movement will consist of approximately 2 seconds of ankle dorsiflexion followed by 2 seconds of plantar flexion. The exercise will be performed for five cycles, with each cycle consisting of 1 minute of exercise followed by 2 minutes of rest. Participants will breathe normally and will be instructed to avoid breath-holding during the exercise.

Each movement will consist of approximately 2 seconds of ankle dorsiflexion followed by 2 seconds of plantar flexion. The intervention will consist of five cycles, with each cycle including 1 minute of exercise followed by 2 minutes of rest. Participants will breathe normally and avoid breath-holding during the exercise.
