Time Course of Responses to Unilateral Quadriceps Static Stretching
Sponsor: İbrahim Dündar
Summary
This study investigated whether unilateral static stretching of the quadriceps muscles produces immediate and short-term changes in muscle strength and jumping performance in both the stretched and unstretched legs. Healthy adult men performed unilateral quadriceps static stretching, and muscle strength and jumping performance were assessed before stretching and at 0, 30, 60, and 120 minutes after stretching. The study evaluated changes over time in the stretched leg and possible responses in the opposite leg.
