Inclusion Criteria: * \- Age 1 to 17 years * Diagnosis compatible with Guillain-Barré syndrome according to Brighton criteria * Written informed consent from parent or legal guardian Exclusion Criteria: * Previous diagnosis of hereditary peripheral neuropathy * Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy or another chronic neuropathy * Previous neuromuscular disease affecting nerve conduction or ultrasound measurements * Significant peripheral nerve trauma or previous nerve surgery * Drug-induced neuropathy * Local anatomical abnormalities or marked edema preventing reliable ultrasound assessment
