Biologically Oriented Alveolar Ridge Preservation (BARP) With and Without Advanced Platelet-Rich Fibrin Plus (A-PRF+)

Summary

Twenty patients were selected from the outpatient clinic of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, Faculty of Dentistry, Mansoura University seeking for extraction of non-restorable maxillary premolar teeth prior to delayed implant placement. Patients will be divided into 2 groups: * Group A: 10 implants were inserted after four months from extraction after socket preservation by putting two collagen sponge layers and in between deproteinized bovine bone. * Group B: 10 implants were inserted after four months after socket preservation by putting two collagen sponge and in between deproteinized bovine bone with addition of advanced PRF plus layer. * Closure of the flap was obtained without tension. Implants of all groups were immediately loaded .Some Clinical and Radiographic parameters and Histological and Volumetric evaluation were made at different time intervals along this study.
