Local Vibration and Ankle Mobilization in Multiple Sclerosis
Sponsor: Gaziantep Islam Science and Technology University
Summary
This study will investigate the effects of local vibration and ankle joint mobilization on muscle tone, proprioception, and balance in individuals with multiple sclerosis (MS). Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two treatment groups. One group will receive local vibration applied to the gastrocnemius muscle, while the other group will receive ankle joint mobilization. Both interventions will be performed three times per week for six weeks. Muscle tone, ankle joint position sense, and balance will be assessed before and after the intervention. The study aims to determine whether these interventions can improve neuromuscular and balance-related functions in individuals with MS.

Interventions
Local Vibration
Local mechanical vibration applied to the medial and lateral heads of the gastrocnemius muscle at 40 Hz, 3 minutes per muscle head, three times per week for six weeks.
Ankle Joint Mobilization
Grade III posterior-to-anterior talocrural joint mobilization, 60 seconds per set with 30 seconds rest, 4 sets per session, three times per week for six weeks.
