A Clinical Investigational Study of Ankura™ II AAA, IE and AE Stent Graft System for Endovascular Treatment of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm

The objective of this clinical investigational study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the Ankura™ II AAA, AE Stent Graft System and the large-size Ankura™ II IE Stent Graft System (i.e., IE stent grafts with distal diameters of 24, 26, and 28 mm) for endovascular treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysm in patients with infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm who are suitable for endovascular intervention. The primary safety endpoint is the incidence of major adverse events within 30 days after the procedure. The primary efficacy endpoint is the 12-month treatment success rate.

Endovascular Repair With Fenestrated TREO Stent-Graft System in AAA

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if the Fenestrated TREO Stent-Graft System works to treat abdominal aneurysms in adults. An abdominal aneurysm is a bulge in the main blood vessel (the aorta) which carries blood from the heart, through the chest and abdomen. It will also learn about the safety of Fenestrated TREO Stent-Graft System. The main question it aims to answer is: Can the the Fenestrated TREO Stent-Graft System be used to treat participants with a specific type of abdominal aneurysm called a juxtarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm? Participants will: Have the the Fenestrated TREO Stent-Graft System implanted via an endovascular surgical procedure and visit the hospital for a follow up period of 5 years, for checkups, tests and imaging scans.

Use of Artificial Intelligence to Predict Complications Following Abdominal Aortic Surgery

Abdominal aortic aneurysm, a condition characterised by an increase in the diameter of the aorta, can be treated either surgically or endovascularly. In the latter, an endoprosthesis consisting of a metal spring covered with an impermeable fabric is inserted through an artery and deployed inside the aorta. This new method appears to be less invasive than surgery, but its long-term results are not yet fully understood. As a result, patients who have undergone this treatment are monitored by their surgeon to ensure that there is no endoleak. Several research teams have proposed analysing medical images to predict this risk of endoleak. Doctors are now trying to use artificial intelligence to automate the analysis of these images.
