Psilocybin-Assisted Psychotherapy in Cancer Patients With Adjustment Disorder
This study is assessing the efficacy and safety of NPX-5 in psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy for the treatment of adjustment disorder due to cancer diagnosis. Who is it for? This study is for people who are aged between 18 and 80 years old and suffer from anxiety after adjusting to an acutely stressful event of their cancer diagnosis. This is called adjustment disorder. Study details Participants in this study will be randomly allocated by chance (similar to flipping a coin) to one of three groups: a 25mg NPX-5 dose group, a 10 mg NPX-5 dose group or a 1mg NPX-5 dose group. Participants will be allocated a dose that will be administered during their psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy (PAP) dosing session. The PAP dosing session will run approximately 8 hours, with NPX-5 administered at Day 14 (dosing day). At Week 10, non-responders that continue to meet the study eligibility criteria may commence an additional PAP cycle (at 25 mg NPX-5). A maximum of 2 PAP cycles may be administered. Long term follow up will comprise of a study visit at 3 months post Week 10 (of the final cycle) to assess safety and tolerability of NPX-5. It is hoped that this research will develop important scientific knowledge that could contribute to the development of a potential new treatment for anxiety and depression after adjusting to an acutely stressful event such as a cancer diagnosis.

Respiratory Training in the Treatment of Transdiagnostic Pathological Anxiety
Purpose of the Research: The primary aim of the proposed study is to conduct a randomized parallel-group 2-arm clinical trial investigating capnometry-guided respiratory intervention (CGRI) for pathological anxiety. CGRI aims to raise end-tidal CO2 levels thereby lowering hyperventilation-induced respiratory alkalosis and its associated fear-eliciting somatic reactions. Psycho-education about anxiety and its effects (PsyEd) will serve as a credible control comparator.

Developing Evidence-Based Cognitive Approaches to Improve Adjustment to Vision Loss
The goal of this study is to develop and pilot test a therapeutic strategy combining cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with mindfulness practices tailored for individuals adjusting to vision loss. The study will begin with focus groups to inform the design of the intervention. Participants will complete brief surveys on their background and experiences with vision loss prior to attending a focus group, and some may be invited to a second session to provide additional feedback before preliminary testing begins. In the pilot phase, participants will attend weekly group therapy sessions using the developed intervention and complete assessments before and after the program, including questions about vision status, demographics, and experiences with vision loss.

Promoting Sustainable Return to Work Among Employees on Sick Leave Due to a Mental Health Condition: Evaluation of the HealthyMinds Online Group Intervention
The purpose of this clinical trial is to evaluate the impact of an online group intervention called Healthy Minds in facilitating a sustainable return to work for individuals with a mood disorder. The study aims to answer the following key questions : * Does receiving the Healthy Minds online intervention lead to a more sustainable return to work compared to not receiving the intervention? * Are the health outcomes (e.g., depressive symptoms) and work-related outcomes (e.g., work functioning) of individuals who receive the Healthy Minds online intervention better than those who do not receive the intervention in the year following the intervention? Both experimental and control participants will be recruited at baseline while on sick leave (expected to return to work in less than one month) or recently returned to work (less than one month). Participants will complete a series of online questionnaires at the following time points : * Baseline * First follow-up (2 months after baseline) * Second follow-up (6 months after baseline) * Third follow-up (12 months after baseline) The questionnaires will cover the following areas : * Sociodemographic and biopsychosocial factors * Symptoms associated with the primary mood disorder * Cognitive difficulties and biaises * Self-efficacy related to return to work * Work accommodations and natural supports * Relationship with immediate supervisor * Work functioning * Return to work time (number of days away from work) Experimental participants will participate in the 2-month online Healthy Minds group intervention (cohort of 5 participants) between the baseline assessment and the first follow-up. The intervention consists of 8 sessions (one per week for 8 weeks), with each session focusing on a specific aspect of the return-to-work process from a cognitive-behavioral perspective.
