Microneedling for Skin Heath

Skin boosters are treatments designed to improve skin quality and restore skin health. Some of these treatments are based on polynucleotides, which are small fragments of DNA. One such compound, called Polydeoxyribonucleotide (PDRN), is obtained from fish sources such as salmon or trout. PDRN has shown regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties, and in medical practice it has been used to support wound healing, scar improvement, and skin rejuvenation by helping with elasticity, texture, and fine lines. VAMP™ Multivitamin Serum is a topical formulation that contains PDRN along with amino acids, vitamins, and peptides. It is designed to improve hydration, elasticity, and overall skin radiance. While early data suggest potential benefits, clinical research is still limited, and further study is needed.

Aesthetic Improvement of Facial Rhytids Using Injectables

Revanesse® Renew™+ (Prollenium Medical Technologies Inc.) is a non-crosslinked HA skin booster that combines low- and high-molecular-weight HA at a concentration of 14 mg/mL in a sterile aqueous gel for intradermal injection7. This dual-weight formulation provides both rapid hydration and sustained moisture retention, improving dermal suppleness and promoting subtle textural refinement through physiologic hydration rather than volumization. The present study is designed to compare biweekly and monthly treatment schedules of Revanesse® Renew™+, assessing clinical efficacy, objective biophysical markers, and participant-reported outcomes to inform evidence-based treatment protocols in aesthetic medicine.

Topical Multivitamin Serum for Skin Heath

Skin boosters are injectable and topical treatments designed to improve dermal quality and restore skin health. These products typically include hyaluronic acid formulations, biostimulatory agents, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), growth factors, and polynucleotides. Their growing use in aesthetic medicine is supported by their diverse mechanisms of action and routes of administration. One such category of interest includes polynucleotide-based therapies, most notably Polydeoxyribonucleotide (PDRN). Derived from the DNA of salmon or trout, PDRN exhibits dual regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties. Mechanistically, it promotes tissue repair by supplying nucleotides essential for DNA synthesis and activates adenosine A2A receptors, thereby enhancing angiogenesis and mitigating inflammation. Hyaluronic Acid Filler Migration

Soft tissue filler injections continue to grow in popularity as a method of facial rejuvenation, including volume restoration and contour enhancement. Many different hyaluronic acid (HA)-based fillers are available on the market and differ in terms of their physical and chemical properties, which results in families of fillers (e.g., Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid - NASHA vs. Optimal Balance Technology - OBT) with different tissue integration patterns. It has been proposed that the properties of fillers significantly influences their tendency to migrate. More specifically, thick fillers may be less prone to migration compared to fluid fillers. However, a detailed knowledge of facial anatomy, safer injection techniques, and careful product selection based on filler qualities may be preventive measures for filler migration. The goal of this study is to describe the short and intermediate-term product distribution/integration patterns of NASHA and OBT-based fillers, and to evaluate the evidence (if any) of filler migration from the intended site of injection.

Post-Menopause Skin Rejuvenation Study

The post-menopausal state is marked by a sharp decline in estrogen, leading to significant structural and functional changes in the skin, including collagen loss, dryness, thinning, and reduced elasticity. To address these concerns, aesthetic injectables products such as Sculptra® Aesthetic (poly-L-lactic-acid \[PLLA- SCA\]) and Restylane Skinboosters®\[HASBV\] (small-particle hyaluronic acid - SP-HA) can be used. PLLA-SCA stimulates collagen production via cellular activation (biostimulator), gradually improving dermal structure. HASBV enhances hydration, elasticity, and skin texture when injected under the skin. Considering that hydration and laxity represent the primary aesthetic concerns in this patient population. Targeted treatment with SP-HA (HASBV) to improve hydration and PLLA-SCA to address laxity have been shown to produce significant clinical outcomes by directly addressing these key dermal deficiencies. This approach forms the basis of the current study.

PLLA and CaHA-R for Aesthetic Rejuvenation

Skin ageing is intricately linked to collagen degradation caused by internal and external factors. External factors contributing to ageing include ultraviolet rays, smoking, heat, and air pollution, and follow a distribution across the body according to the level of exposure. Whereas internal ageing occurs as a natural consequence of physiological changes over time. As we age, both natural internal and external factors cause stress to the body. This stress damages important molecules in our skin, including proteins, fats (lipids), and DNA. One of the main proteins affected is collagen, which gives skin its strength and firmness. This loss of collagen leads to visible signs of aging such as wrinkles, thinner skin (atrophy), rough or damaged texture (elastosis), and uneven skin tone (dyschromia). Interventions such as collagen stimulators have shown promising outcomes in stimulating cells to produce collagen, thereby improving skin elasticity and firmness. Poly-L-Lactic Acid is a biodegradable long-chain polymer of repeating units of lactic acid derived from alpha-hydroxy acid. Injecting PLLA into the deep dermis or subcutaneous tissue, stimulates collagen production through an inflammatory response, resulting in skin rejuvenation that can last between two to three years. In contrast, CaHA-R drives the regeneration of collagens, elastin, and proteoglycans with minimal immune cell recruitment and immediate volume improvement lasting around 12-18 months. To date, there have been no randomized-controlled-trials comparing the efficacy of PLLA vs CaHa-R for skin rejuvenation in the face and body.

New Technique and Product for Chin Enhancement

The use of hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers for soft tissue augmentation offers a valuable treatment modality for the correction of chin retrusion (i.e., when the chin appears to be set back or further back than normal in relation to the rest of the face). Their use is well-tolerated and provides satisfactory aesthetic results by improving facial balance and projection. Although the efficacy of hyaluronic acid HA fillers for chin augmentation has been established, the specific anatomy of the region may lead to adverse events. More specifically, certain fillers with strong integration characteristics may lead to product migration, while others with poor integration characteristics may lead to palpable deformities and distortion of the surrounding injection tissues. Using a filler that has a high concentration of hyaluronic acid, a medium level of firmness and low water absorption may offer an effective option for treating this indication while minimizing certain adverse events. In addition, using consistent, standardized injection techniques can help achieve an ideal result. We believe that the use of a novel HA gel (Revanesse Sculp+) for the chin, with a high concentration of HA, a moderate firmness and low water absorption, will perform better than historical controls with firmer properties in the management of chin retrusion.

Pan-Facial Layering of Hyaluronic Acid Filler

Recent advancements in anatomical studies have enabled a more sophisticated approach to treating patients with facial aesthetic concerns with hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers. For instance, volumizing a specific area of concern may be warranted, but it is essential to understand how the underlying patient anatomy is continuing to laxity and hollowness. Varying manufacturing technology have offered a range of HA fillers with different physical and chemical properties adapted to different indications, each one tailored to provide a slightly different outcome based on the needs of the patient. Given these advances in the medical aesthetic field, investigators and clinicians are seeking to develop a new methodology for providing patients with a more tailored and personalized treatment approach. This methodology includes using a pan-facial, multilayering treatment technique that can be employed by injectors once experience is gained with standard techniques. The goal of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of layering HA from the Restylane line of soft tissue products to create a more harmonious and complete aesthetics results.

Clinical Study to Evaluate Safety and Effectiveness of Noble Lift® Lifting Threads

The aim of this study is to compare two models of the Nobel Lift range (PDO sutures) with similar PDO devices available on the market, in a split-face comparative study. Each thread model will be used in one indication: upper face (eyebrow lift) or mid-face and lower-face. Aesthetic efficacy of the devices will be evaluated and compared with the Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale (GAIS), jowl laxity scale, subjective evaluation of the patient and photographs during a 12-months period. Safety of the devices and procedures will also be evaluated.
