Acute Effects of Posterior Talar Glide Mobilization

The aim of this study is to evaluate the acute effects of posterior talar glide mobilisation on dorsiflexion range of motion wieght bearing (measured using the Weight-Bearing Lunge Test) and walking speed, using a randomised, sham-controlled study design.

Red Light Therapy: a Potential Strategy to Reduce Sports Injury Risk?

This study investigates whether near-infrared light therapy can acutely improve ankle dorsiflexion mobility and hamstring flexibility, two factors associated with sports injury risk. Healthy adult students will complete three randomized conditions: a control session, a 10-minute cycling warm-up, and a 10-minute exposure to a red and near-infrared LED panel (MITO LIGHT®). Mobility and flexibility will be assessed before and after each condition using the Knee-to-Wall Test (KWT) and the Active Knee Extension Test (AKET). The study aims to determine whether photobiomodulation may serve as a potential strategy to reduce musculoskeletal injury risk.

EQUISOCK: New Antiequine

The goal of this experimental study is to test the feasibility and validity of a new orthosis in patients with ankle lesions (external popliteal sciatic nerve or nerve injuries resulting in loss of ankle dorsiflexion) of both sexes and all ages. The main question it aims to answer is:Is the new orthosis a support for ankle stability??Does the new orthosis improve ankle function and patients' quality of life??The control group will be the subjects themselves when wearing their conventional ankle orthosis or without it. Participants must wear the new ankle orthosis for at least one month to assess the effectiveness of the orthosis and evaluate any changes that have occurred in the ankle joint and muscles.
