NCT07380009
Acceptability and Adherence to Different Dosing Regimens of the Multistrain Probiotic Vivomixx® 460 Neo 9 in Adults Receiving Antibiotic Therapy.
This open-label interventional study aims to evaluate the acceptability and adherence of adult participants to the multistrain probiotic Vivomixx® 460 Neo 9 when administered concurrently with antibiotic therapy. Participants are randomized to receive one of two dosing regimens: a low daily dose or a high daily dose. The study will assess the effects of these regimens on the prevention of antibiotic-associated diarrhea (AAD), gastrointestinal symptoms, and patient adherence and acceptability. The results are intended to provide evidence to optimize the clinical use of probiotics alongside antibiotics.

Oritavancin for CIED Infections With MDR Gram-positive Cocci
The study aimed to conduct a randomized, non-inferiority controlled trial to compare the short- and medium-term efficacy and safety of two antibiotic dosage regimens in cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIED) infections with multidrug-resistant Gram-positive cocci: 1) single-dose therapy with a long-half-life antibiotic (oritavancin) vs. standard 7-14 days of therapy with a short-half-life antibiotic (vancomycin) for CIED surgical incision site or pocket infection; and 2) fractionated therapy with a long-half-life antibiotic (oritavancin) at seven-day intervals compared to standard therapy with a short-half-life antibiotic (vancomycin) fractionated in 2-3 daily doses in cases of lead-related infectious endocarditis.

Therapeutic Monitoring of Antibiotics in Intensive Care Patients: a Cohort Study PopTDM-ICU
Intensive care patients are exposed to serious infections. Mortality linked to these infections remains high and antibiotic therapy treatment optimization is one of the key points of therapeutic success . Pharmacokinetic therapeutic monitoring and dosage adjustments are recommended for large families of antibiotics such as glycopeptides and aminoglycosides for a long time, but to this day still insufficiently practiced. Concerning Beta-Lactamines this practice is recommended by french society of pharmacology and therapeutic (SFPT) and french society of anesthesiology and intensive care (SFAR) since 2018. The main goal of the POP-TDM-ICU study is to find the predictive factors of clinical therapeutic efficacy of antibiotic therapy in sepsis or septic shock in intensive care, among which the use of the dosage pharmacokinetics of antibiotic therapy (TDM = Therapeutic Drug Monitoring). This study is a non-interventional study. Patients bacterial samples already collected in standard care and additional plasma samples will be collected as part of a biological collection with the consent of the patient or family member.
