Digital Occlusal Analysis and Bite Force Evaluation of the Hall Technique Vs Stainless Steel Crowns in Primary Molars Using T-scan

This randomized controlled clinical trial aims to compare two restorative techniques for managing carious primary molars in children aged 6-9 years: the Hall Technique and conventional stainless-steel crown (SSC) placement. The study evaluates how each technique affects occlusal force distribution, mean bite force, and vertical dimension changes using the T-Scan digital occlusal analysis system. Additional outcomes include temporomandibular joint assessment, child discomfort levels, and parental satisfaction with treatment. Participants are allocated 1:1 to receive either the Hall Technique or conventional SSC restoration, and outcomes are measured at baseline, immediately after treatment, and at 2- and 4-week follow-ups. The study aims to determine whether the minimally invasive Hall Technique provides comparable occlusal function and patient-centered outcomes when compared to traditional SSC preparation methods.

The General Aim is to Implement Clinical Assessment of Overload by Voluntary Bite Force Registration to Enable Future Simple But Precise Risk Assessment to Provide Individualized Treatment Plans.

The general aim of this clinical trial is to implement clinical assessment of overload by bite force registration to enable future simple but precise risk assessment to provide individualized treatment plans. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Can we risk-assess patients regarding overload based on bite force measurement before dental implant treatment? * Can we profile patients based on bite force to tailor precise dental implant treatment for individual patients? * Will this profiling lead to improved prognosis by reduced number of technical and/or biological complications? Participants with dental implant prostheses get their bite force measured and followed every year up to 10 years to see complications.

Maximum Occlusal Bite Force of Necrotic Permanent Teeth Treated by Regenerative Technique: Randomized Clinical Trial

Further investigation is warranted to ascertain whether the regaining of sensibility and nerve function in regenerated teeth leads to the re-establishment of the proprioceptive protective mechanism inherent in vital teeth. Hence, the primary objective of this prospective randomized clinical trial is to conduct a comparative analysis of the potential effects of pulp revascularization in comparison to conventional endodontic treatments, either RCT or apexification on the Maximum occlusal bite force (MBF) in both immature and mature necrotic permanent teeth. Methods: Upon satisfying the predetermined criteria for inclusion, a total of 184 patients will be recruited for this prospective clinical trial. The study will consist of two groups, specifically Group I: Mature teeth and Group II: Immature teeth, with a sample size of 92 participants in each group. The participants will be assigned randomly to one of the two treatment modalities per group. Group I: will undergo treatment with RCT/revascularization, while Group II will receive MTA plug/revascularization encompassing both mature (n=92) and immature teeth (n=92). MBF will be measured on the selected necrotic teeth prior to clinical intervention, this measurement will be conducted using a portable occlusal force gauge (GM10). Following the completion of therapy, MBF measurements will be repeated at 6 and 12 months to assess long-term outcomes. Subsequently, the collected data will undergo comprehensive analysis.

''Comparative Evaluation of Change in Bite Force and Levels of Bone Turnover Markers CTX and BALP in Hyperdivergent and Hypodivergent Cases During Retention Phases-A Prospective Clinical Trial ''

Long-term studies have shown that various occlusal changes occur after the active phase of orthodontic treatment. some of these changes are unwanted changes and are considered as relapse The retention appliances are used to maintain the arch dimensions and alignment of the teeth after completion of the orthodontic treatment. One indicator of the functional state and health of the masticatory system is maximum voluntary bite force (MVBF). Its values vary in accordance to the location of measurement (highest at the first molar, lower at the incisors). People with pronounced horizontal craniofacial growth have somewhat higher values of MVBF, and those with vertical growth have lower values than do those with an average growth pattern. Clinical case reports and descriptive histologic data exist suggesting that bone and tooth remodeling persist for extended periods after removal of appliance or deactivation. A reflection of bone remodelling can be found in the gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) of moving teeth, with decrease or increase in the concentration of biomarker. This prompted us to evaluate the expression of variation in bone turnover marker levels (CTX-Bone resorption marker and BALP -Bone formation marker ) during the retention period. The International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and International Federation of Clinical Chemistry (IFCC) have recommended C-terminal telopeptide of type I collagen (CTX) as one of the reference for BTMs. Hence, The present trial will be undertaken to assess the changes and compare if there is any difference in bite force and change in level of bone biomarker biomarker CTX type 1 collagen(C-terminal telopeptide of type I collagen and bone specific alkaline phosphatase(BALP) in post orthodontic treatment hypodivergent and hyperdivergent cases using beggs retainer over 12 months of period of retention.
