Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography In Rheumatoid Arthritis Study

The Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography in Rheumatoid Arthritis study is part of the multinational, prospective, observational Autoimmunity and Atherosclerosis in Rheumatic Diseases cohort (https://atacc-rd.com) that includes comprehensive baseline and follow-up assessments at 3, 5, and 10 years. It comprises a main protocol and several optional modules, including a Cardiac Imaging Module, Biobanking Module, Pulmonary Module, and Anxiety and Depression Module. The study aims to advance understanding of cardiopulmonary and psychological comorbidities in rheumatoid arthritis, to improve early identification and management, and to enhance insights into underlying disease mechanisms-ultimately refining risk stratification and targeted prevention strategies. The study includes 4,000 patients with rheumatoid arthritis enrolled through the Cardiac Imaging Module in the main protocol. Participants undergo coronary computed tomography angiography, pulmonary function testing, physical examination, questionnaires, and biobanking, supplemented by genetic, proteomic, metabolomic, and microbiome profiling.

Analysis of the Influence of Dialysis Fluid Composition on Vascular Calcification in Patients With Chronic Kidney Disease Undergoing Hemodialysis

The goal of this clinical trial is to find out if using a citrate-based dialysate with added magnesium during hemodialysis can help slow down or prevent the hardening of blood vessels (vascular calcification) in adults on long-term dialysis. The main questions the study will try to answer are: Does citrate-based dialysate with magnesium improve the blood's ability to prevent calcium buildup (measured by a test called T50) compared to acetate-based dialysate? Does it modify magnesium, calcium and parathyroid hormone (PTH) levels in the blood? Does it lower the chances of heart problems or death? Researchers will compare two groups: one will receive acetate-based dialysate, and the other will receive citrate-based dialysate with magnesium. Participants will: Receive one of the two types of dialysate during their regular hemodialysis sessions for 12 months Have regular blood tests Be monitored for any heart problems and for overall health during the study

Tongmai Jiangtang Capsule for Cardiovascular Clinical Outcomes in High-Risk Metabolic Syndrome Patients

1. Conduct a large-sample, multicenter, superiority, double-blind, randomized controlled clinical trial to verify the efficacy of TJC in reducing the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events in patients with metabolic syndrome at high cardiovascular and cerebrovascular risk (HCR-MS). 2. Further construct an evaluation system for the long-term cardiovascular and cerebrovascular benefits of traditional Chinese medicine in regulating glucose and lipid metabolism through the evaluative study of the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular benefits of TJC.
