Modified Cunningham Technique for Anterior Shoulder Dislocation
Anterior shoulder dislocation is a common emergency condition that usually requires closed reduction in the emergency department. Several reduction techniques are used in clinical practice, and the ideal method should be effective, fast, easy to perform, well tolerated by the patient, and associated with a low need for sedation. This two-center prospective randomized study compares the standard Cunningham technique with a modified Cunningham technique in adult patients presenting to the emergency department with anterior shoulder dislocation. Eligible patients were randomly assigned to one of two groups: standard Cunningham technique or modified Cunningham technique. The main aim of the study is to compare the success rate of shoulder reduction between the two techniques. Secondary aims include comparing reduction time, pain level measured by the Visual Analog Scale, need for additional reduction maneuvers, need for sedation, emergency department discharge time, and procedure-related complications. The study is designed to determine whether the modified Cunningham technique can provide faster and more successful shoulder reduction without increasing patient discomfort or complication risk.

No Reduction Compared to Closed Reduction for Distal Radius Fractures in Patients Over 65 or Older
DISCLOSE trial is a randomized controlled trial including 532 participants with low-energy distal radius fractures. The primary objective is to evaluate whether casting without prior closed reduction is equivalent to casting following closed reduction with respect to wrist-related pain and disability, as measured by the Patient-Rated Wrist Evaluation (PRWE) score at 12 months, in patients aged 65 years or older with a displaced distal radius fracture. * Primary endpoint will be PRWE at 12 months * Follow-up visits are scheduled at 3 and 12 months. 5-year follow-up will be considered as an exploratory endpoint

Associations Between Time to Reduction and Complications in Patients With Dislocated Total Hip Arthroplasty
The aim of the study is to investigate the impact of time to closed reduction on both patient related and organizational factors. These include, length of stay, hospitalization, admission to intensive care unit, rehospitalizations, delirium, all-cause mortality, infection requiring hospital contact, and cardiovascular complications. It is also intended to investigate whether different anaesthetic strategies and airway management are associated with different complication rates. It is hypothesized that longer waiting time until reduction increase the postoperative length of stay, readmissions, and risk of complications.
