Optimal Bowel Preparation in Geriatric Patients With a Instructional Animation Video Before Colonoscopy
Our study presents an innovative educational approach combining visual and auditory elements, targeting the specific needs of the geriatric population. Generally, before colonoscopy, participants are given a written instruction describing the standard bowel preparation with the use of laxatives and enemas. In our study, in addition to this written instruction, the investigators aimed to support the bowel preparation procedure with visual training by using an animated video. The use of animated video has the potential to present complex medical instructions in a simple and understandable format. This approach is especially designed for elderly participants who have limited literacy skills or have difficulty in following written instructions. In addition, it was aimed to reduce the anxiety of the participants before the colonoscopy procedure and to increase patient compliance.

Effectiveness of Chatbot for Improving Caregiving Outcomes in Primary Caregivers of Geriatric Pneumonia Patients: A Study on Knowledge, Attitude and Practice.
Pneumonia is a leading cause of death and hospitalization among the elderly in Taiwan. High-quality home care is essential to recovery and reducing readmission, yet primary caregivers often lack the specific skills needed, such as airway clearance and safe feeding techniques. Traditional education, consisting of one-time verbal instructions and paper brochures, often lacks interactivity and real-time support. This study introduces "Pneumonia Care Helper," an interactive LINE chatbot designed to provide digital health education. The goal is to evaluate whether this digital tool is more effective than traditional paper-based education in improving the knowledge, attitudes, and caregiving practices of primary caregivers of elderly pneumonia patients. The study will compare the outcomes of caregivers using the chatbot versus those receiving standard paper-based instructions over a 5-day intervention period.

Effect of Exergaming Program Versus Neuromuscular Exercise in Elderly People With Motor Cognitive Risk Syndrome
The primary aim of our study is to compare the effects of neuromuscular exercise training versus structured exergaming program on locomotor and cognitive functions in elderly individuals with Motor Cognitive Risk (MCR), which defines the transition state between typical aging and dementia and mild cognitive impairment. This study aims to present for the first time the effects of neuromuscular exercise training and exergaming program on locomotor and cognitive functions in elderly individuals with MCR with comparative results.

Incidence and Risk Factors of Post-Induction Hypotension in Geriatric Cancer Patients
This observational clinical study aims to investigate the incidence and risk factors of post-induction hypotension (PIH) in geriatric cancer patients undergoing surgery under general anesthesia. PIH is defined as a drop in mean arterial pressure of ≥30% from baseline or below 65 mmHg within the first 20 minutes after anesthesia induction, prior to surgical stimulation. The primary objective is to determine the frequency of PIH in elderly oncology patients. Secondary objectives include evaluating the association of PIH with age, ASA score, cancer type, oncological treatments (chemotherapy/radiotherapy), comorbidities, medication use, anemia, biochemical parameters, and preoperative perfusion index (PI) and pleth variability index (PVI). Findings from this study are expected to contribute to improved perioperative management and to the development of tailored anesthesia protocols for geriatric oncology patients.
