Enhancing PrEP Uptake and Retention Among Latine TGW and GBM in the South Using Long-Acting Injectable PrEP
The purpose of this project is to test a culturally-tailored, community-delivered long-acting injectable PrEP (lenacapavir) program for Latine gay and bisexual men (GBM) and transgender women (TGW). The objective is to evaluate whether this intervention demonstrates greater persistence on lenacapavir for Latine GBM and TGW compared with what has been observed historically at the Duke PrEP Clinic.

Academic Detailing to Optimize PrEP Implementation in Pediatric Primary Care Settings: ADOPT-PrEP
In this study, 50 pediatricians will participate in academic detailing, an evidence-based, 1-on-1 outreach education technique intended to promote clinician behavior change through brief, highly interactive, and individualized dialogues with trained educators, or "detailers". The goals of this study are to learn about whether this is a practical and acceptable technique, and whether it changes how pediatricians prescribe pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) to adolescents and young adults (AYA) and how patients take it.

Promoting HIV Risk Reduction Among People Who Inject Drugs: A Stepped Care Approach Using Contingency Management With PrEP Adherence and Support Services
The proposed study will be a 24-week intervention with a 12-month follow-up period to evaluate the impact of contingency management with stepped care to pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) adherence and support services (CoMPASS) to promote HIV prevention among individuals with opioid use disorder who have injected drugs in their lifetime. In parallel, the investigators will conduct an implementation focused process evaluation to inform real-world implementation of CoMPASS. .

NCT06373952
Integrated Online-to-offline (O2O) Model of Care for HIV Prevention and Treatment Among Men Who Have Sex with Men
The proposed research focuses on developing and testing a web-based platform, called Jom-TestPlus, that will incorporate HIV self-testing (HIVST) with real-time e-counseling (eHIVST) with online-to-offline (O2O) linkage to HIV prevention and treatment services while simultaneously co-addressing chemsex-related needs for men who have sex with men (MSM) in Malaysia. This model represents a potentially impactful strategy for reaching marginalized populations, like MSM, and allows immediate engagement in the post-test linkage process to prevention or treatment services.
