Concept-verification Clinical Trial on the Inhibition of Breast Cancer Lung Metastasis Progression by Hyperbaric Oxygen

This is a proof-of-concept clinical trial focused on exploring whether hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) can inhibit the progression of lung metastasis in breast cancer patients. Patients enrolled in this arm will receive standard breast cancer treatment combined with HBOT.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for Soft Tissue Sarcoma Pilot Study

A parallel-group randomized pilot trial at a single institution (Duke University) on the effect of postoperative hyperbaric oxygen therapy on wound healing in patients with soft tissue sarcoma undergoing surgical resection with neo-adjuvant radiation therapy.. Participants will be allocated to either the treatment group (HBOT) or control (standard of care) by computer-generated randomization, stratified by tumor size (≤10cm and \>10cm). An unequal randomization of 2:1 will be utilized to provide experience prescribing HBOT to more patients.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to Improve Autologous Fat Graft Intake in Irradiated Breast

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) enhances fat graft survival in lipofilling procedures in irradiated breast cancer patients. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does it improve fat graft survival ? Evaluate safety and tolerability of HBOT in this setting? Researchers will compare patient receiving HBOT to a control group without HBOT to see if. Sixteen female patients will undergo two autologous fat grafting sessions: one with HBOT and one without, in a randomized sequence. Patients will undergo three MRI during the study to evaluate the fat retention rate.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Used on Severely Injured Healthy Individuals With Fungal Infections

The goal of this observational study is to learn about the effects of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy on healthy individual who suffer from invasive fungal infection caused by severe trauma, who do not respond to conventional treatment. The main question it aims to answer is: Does the treatment aid in eradicating the infection and improve the overall outcome of such patients?

Effect of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy(HBOT) on Patients With Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss(SSNHL) and Coagulation Function

The objective of this observational study was to understand the effect of HBO on patients with SSNHL and its association with coagulation function and prognosis. The main question it aims to answer is whether HBO therapy can improve outcomes and coagulation function in patients with SSNHL. The prognosis of SSNHL patients receiving HBO and SSNHL patients not receiving HBO were compared
