RECRUITING

NCT07213765

Short-term Antibiotic Therapy in Mycobacterium Avium Complex Pulmonary Disease

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if adding contezolid works to shorten the length of treatment in mycobacterium avium pulmonary disease in adults. It will also learn about the safety of extended usage of contezolid. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does adding contezolid to standard regimen decrease the bacterial load, lesion severity and improve the life quality of patients with mycobacterium avium pulmonary disease? What medical problems do participants have when taking contezolid for an extended length? Researchers will compare standard regimen plus contezolid to standard regimen alone to see if contezolid helps further decrease the bacterial load, lesion severity and improve the life quality of patients with mycobacterium avium pulmonary disease? Participants will: Take contezolid and standard regimen (azithromycin, ethambutol, and rifampicin) for 6 months, contezolid is administered every day while other drugs are taken three times a week OR take standard regimen three times a week for 12 months. Visit the clinic once every 1 month for checkups and tests.

NCT07084402

Short-term Bactericidal Effect of Contezolid in MAC-PD

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if contezolid works to treat mycobacterium avium complex pulmonary disease in adults. It will also learn about the safety of contezolid. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does adding contezolid to standard regimen further decrease the bacterial load in patients' sputum compared with current standard regimen? What medical problems do participants have when taking contezolid along with standard regimen? Researchers will compare standard regimen plus contezolid to standard regimen alone to see if contezolid helps further lower the count of bacteria in patients' sputum. Participants will: Take contezolid and standard regimen (azithromycin, ethambutol and rifampicin) or standard regimen only for 6 months, contezolid is administered every day while other drugs are taken 3 times a week Visit the clinic once every 1 month for checkups and tests.

NCT07174076

Prevention of Recurrence With Cordyceps Sinensis in Mycobacterium Avium Complex Pulmonary Disease

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if cordyceps sinesis capsule (Bailiing Capsule) works to prevent the recurrence of microbiologically cured mycobacterium avium complex pulmonary disease in adults. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does cordyceps sinesis capsule (Bailiing Capsule) prevents the recurrence of mycobacterium avium complex pulmonary disease in adults? Researchers will compare cordyceps sinesis capsule (Bailiing Capsule) to a placebo (a look-alike substance that contains no drug) to see if cordyceps sinesis capsule helps to prevent the recurrence of mycobacterium avium complex pulmonary disease. Participants will: Take cordyceps sinesis capsule (Bailiing Capsule) or a placebo (a look-alike substance that contains no drug) for 12 months, both are administered every day. Visit the clinic once every 3 months for checkups and tests. Take online questionnaires every month.
