7-Day MEMO Patch Monitoring for Arrhythmia Detection in Patients With Palpitations

"This exploratory prospective clinical study aims to evaluate the diagnostic yield of a 7-day adhesive electrocardiographic (ECG) monitoring device (MEMO Patch) in detecting cardiac arrhythmias in patients presenting with palpitations. Participants who require 24-hour Holter monitoring because of symptoms such as palpitations or dizziness will simultaneously wear a conventional 24-hour Holter monitor and the MEMO Patch. The Holter monitor will be removed after 24 hours, while the MEMO Patch will continue monitoring for a total of 7 days. ECG recordings will be evaluated by cardiologists after technical quality assessment. The study will assess arrhythmia detection, device-related skin adverse events, and participant usability and satisfaction."

This Exploratory Medical Device Study Evaluated the Arrhythmia Diagnostic Yield of MEMO Patch V2, a Wearable Patch-type Electrocardiographic Monitor, in Adults With Suspected Arrhythmia Who Presented With Symptoms Such as Palpitations or Dizziness, or Who Had Cryptogenic Ischemic Stroke or Transient

This exploratory medical device study evaluated the arrhythmia diagnostic yield of MEMO Patch V2, a wearable patch-type electrocardiographic monitor, in adults with suspected arrhythmia who presented with symptoms such as palpitations or dizziness, or who had cryptogenic ischemic stroke or transient ischemic attack. The diagnostic yield of MEMO Patch V2 was compared with that of conventional 24-hour ambulatory electrocardiography (Holter monitoring). The study also assessed ECG signal quality, participant compliance, usability and satisfaction, and skin-related adverse events. The findings were intended to provide preliminary data for planning a future large-scale clinical study.

Detection and Classification of Cardiac Rhythm and Atrial Fibrillation Using a Finger-worn Ring

Everbeat is a finger-worn ring that has a built-in electrocardiogram (ECG). In this study the investigators ensure that the ECG as read by the everbeat correctly classifies heart rhythms and detects atrial fibrillation. Investigators will also correlate the everbeat ECG waveform with a clinical-grade FDA approved electrocardiogram to ensure it may be reliably interpreted by clinicians or other algorithms.
