The Effectiveness of NeuroBot in Alleviating Anxiety of Patients Undergoing Neurovascular Surgeries

The goal of this randomized controlled trial is to investigate the effectiveness of NeuroBot in alleviating anxiety of patients undergoing neurovascular procedures. The main questions it aims to answer are: Is NeuroBot effective in alleviating anxiety? Is NeuroBot effective in enhancing patients' procedure and disease-related knowledge? Is NeuroBot effective in enhancing patients' compliance to treatment? If there is a comparison group: Researchers will compare with standard perioperative education (control group) to see if there is any difference in results. Participants will be invited to chat with the artificial intelligence based chatbot "NeuroBot" for 6 weeks, from the date of preoperative clinic visit till 4 weeks after the surgery. The participants are allowed to access the NeuroBot at anytime anywhere, to ask surgery- related questions at their discretion.

Distribution of Mood and Personality Characteristics and Their Influence on Treatment Compliance

This study intends to investigate the personality and psychological characteristics of OSA patients using classical standard scales and obtain treatment information and adherence data through prospective follow-up to summarize the distribution characteristics of mood and personality characteristics of OSA patients and their influence on treatment adherence. A thorough understanding of OSA patient characteristics from the perspective of personality and psychological characteristics will be of great significance to the classification of OSA patients, precision treatment, and improving treatment compliance.

Effect of Questionnaires and Feedback on the Patient Compliance for Endoscopic Surveillance After ESD

Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is now considered the standard treatment for early gastrointestinal neoplasms. However, there is still a possibility of developing local recurrence or metachronous neoplasia after ESD. Regular endoscopic surveillance after ESD can identify and remove local recurrences and metachronous lesions early, improving patient prognosis. However, the patient compliance with post-ESD endoscopic surveillance is currently unclear, and many patients fail to adhere to the scheduled follow-up. A prospective, randomized controlled, superiority trial was designed to evaluate whether completing a questionnaire and receiving feedback on compliance-related education can improve patient compliance with post-ESD endoscopic surveillance, in comparison to those who did not complete the compliance-related education questionnaire. Additionally, the investigators intend to investigate the factors that influence patient compliance. This study will consist of two parts. Part 1 will assess whether the completion of questionnaire and feedback on compliance-related education can improve short-term patient compliance with post-ESD endoscopic surveillance, and investigate factors influencing short-term patient compliance. Part 2 will assess whether the completion of questionnaire and feedback on compliance-related education can improve long-term patient compliance with post-ESD endoscopic surveillance, and investigate factors influencing patient compliance.

Genetic Testing and Motivational Counseling for FH

To date, there are highly effective lipid-lowering drugs, the combination of which makes it possible to achieve the target level of LDL-C in most patients with familial hypercholesterolemia (FH). However, the effectiveness of treatment of FH patients strongly depends on adherence to lipid-lowering therapy and to the healthy lifestyle, as well as the detection of the disease and the therapy prescription as early as possible, better in childhood. The aim of the study is to assess the impact of genetic testing and motivational counseling on the effectiveness of treatment and cascade screening in patients with FH.
