How Can We Help? Wellbeing Interventions for Choral Music Ensembles

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if psychology and music based interventions can impact anxiety and overall wellbeing in adolescents enrolled in choral music classes. The main questions it aims to answer are: Do specific psychology and music based breathing interventions impact anxiety and overall wellbeing in adolescents? Do specific psychology and music based performance anxiety reduction interventions impact anxiety and overall wellbeing in adolescents? Do specific psychology and music based emotion regulation interventions impact anxiety and overall wellbeing in adolescents? Researchers will compare results of pre-test data, post-test data, qualitative interviews, and surveys of adult choral directors to see if there is a measurable impact on adolescent anxiety and overall wellbeing. Participants will: * Use box breathing during choral music warm-ups to connect choral breathing to breathing for anxiety reduction * Use "magnify" technique to compare cognitive distortions regarding an upcoming performance that may cause anxiety to the most likely realistic outcome * Use emotion regulation through song lyrics technique to connect lyrics of choral music repertoire to participants experienced emotions

tDCS and Musical Performance in Young Orchestra Musicians

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) can improve the technical, expressive, and stage aspects of musical performance in young orchestra musicians aged 18 to 30 years. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does active tDCS improve musical performance compared to sham stimulation? * Does active tDCS reduce music performance anxiety and increase musical self-efficacy? Researchers will compare the active tDCS group to the sham stimulation group to see if active stimulation has positive effects on musical performance and psychological factors. Participants will: * Receive either active or sham tDCS stimulation * Perform a musical piece before and after stimulation * Complete questionnaires about anxiety and musical self-confidence

Effectiveness of Virtual Reality Psychotherapy and Yoga on Student Performance Anxiety

The goal of this pilot clinical trial is to compare two non-pharmacological interventions-Virtual Reality (VR) and Yoga techniques-in reducing performance anxiety in students aged 16-35. Performance anxiety, commonly experienced during public speaking and examinations, affects academic performance and well-being. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does the VR-based guided meditation intervention reduce performance anxiety more effectively than Yoga-based relaxation techniques? Do participants experience better emotional regulation and improved quality of life with either intervention? Researchers will compare the VR intervention group to the Yoga intervention group to determine which intervention better alleviates anxiety symptoms and fosters improved emotional regulation during school performance. Participants will: Attend six to ten sessions of either VR-based guided meditation or Yoga-based relaxation over a period of four weeks. Complete questionnaires to assess their anxiety levels, emotional regulation, and quality of life before and after the intervention.

Influence of Relaxing Breathing Before Each Station of an Objective Structured Clinical Examination

SObjective and Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) has been incorporated recently in the certification process as a final national undergraduate ranking examination. This exam is an additional major stressor for medical students. The aim of this study was to compare the efficiency on stress reduction of a standardized relaxing breathing occuring during rotation of the OSCE stations just before the start of the next upcoming OSCE station, in medical student, during the OSCE.
