PPG to Predict Ejection Fraction and Other Echographic Data in the General Population
The investigators are aiming to investigate the association between ejection fraction (EF) determined by echocardiography and signals obtained from Photoplethysmography (PPG) in the general population. The investigators are also aiming to investigate the association between blood pressure and signals obtained from PPG in the general population. Finally, the investigators are also aiming to investigate the association between signals obtained from PPG in the general population to cardioechographic findings such as, valvular heart disease, structural heart diseases, cardiomyopathies, pericardial disease etc.

Predisposing Factors and Prevalence of Pericardial Diseases Among ESRD Patients Who Are Admitted in Critical Care Medicine Unit in Assuit University Hospital
The main objectives of this observational study are: 1. Provide reliable data on the prevalence of pericardial diseases, pericardial effusion, constrictive pericarditis and its predisposing factors among ESRD patients, undergoing long-term dialysis. 2. Detect the predisposing factors that could contribute to pericardial effusion amount and severity. Participants (or their designated contact persons) will be contacted over the phone for either a telephone interview or a follow-up visit in the outpatient clinics, whatever feasible and possible.

Pericardial Fluid Analysis in Recurrent Pericarditis
This clinical trial aims to examine the biochemical and cytological features of pericardial effusion during acute and recurrent pericarditis and to understand the molecular factors responsible for pathogenesis. The primary objective of this study is to identify and validate diagnostic criteria in pericardial fluid analysis that can differentiate patients with acute and recurrent pericarditis from those with only pericardial fluid but no inflammation. This study will enroll patients with acute pericarditis who require pericardiocentesis for either diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. Two control groups will also be included: one consisting of patients who need cardiac surgery with a collection of pericardial fluid, and the other consisting of patients who require pericardiocentesis for non-inflammatory pericardial effusion. The purpose of the study is to compare the cell activation status and cytokines present in pericardial fluid during acute pericarditis with those present during other pericardial pathologies.
