Transfusion Savings in Heart Surgery: Impact of Individual Strategy by Erythropoietin and Metabolic Adjustment (ScvO2)

Preoperative anemia, bleeding and transfusions have been recognized as a "Deadly triad" in cardiac surgery associated with an increased morbidity,mortality, and costs related. Thus strategies to reduce unnecessary RBC transfusions and to optimize preoperative anemia must be developed .The study evaluate an individual blood conservation strategy based on patient blood management bundles in cardiac surgery patients: optimisation perioperative hemoglobin level by erythropoietin and ferric carboxymaltose (Ferinject) associated with the use of ScV02 to guide perioperative erythrocyte transfusion.

The Effects of Ferric Derisomaltose on Postoperative Anemia in Spinal Deformity Surgery

The prognosis of patients undergoing spinal deformity surgery is often compromised by perioperative anemia due to iron deficiency. The aim of this randomized, controlled trial was to evaluate whether postoperative ferric derisomaltose intravenous injection may improve anemia and prognosis in patients undergoing spinal deformity surgery comparing with oral iron. Participants will be randomly assigned to the treatment group (intravenous ferric derisomaltose) and the control group (oral iron). Changes in hemoglobin concentration, percentage of anemia correction, changes in iron indicators, patient quality of life, and incidence of adverse events will be analyzed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of iron isomaltoside infusion.

Effect of Perioperative Roxadustat in Elective Lumbar Interbody Fusion Surgery.

The goal of this clinical trial is to assess whether Roxadustat can reduce perioperative blood transfusions in patients with anemia undergoing elective lumbar interbody fusion surgery. It will also evaluate the safety of Roxadustat in this context. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does Roxadustat reduce the need for perioperative red blood cell transfusions? * Is Roxadustat safe for use in patients during the perioperative period? Researchers will compare Roxadustat to standard clinical care without Roxadustat to determine its effectiveness and safety. Participants will: * Take Roxadustat orally three times a week for three weeks (two weeks before surgery and one week post-surgery). * Undergo regular blood tests and follow-up monitoring during the hospital stay and up to 6 months after surgery.
