Preoperative Cardiac Power Output and P-POSSUM Score
This study aims to investigate the relationship between preoperative Cardiac Power Output (CPO), which reflects the pumping capacity of the heart, and the P-POSSUM score, a widely used surgical risk assessment tool, in patients aged 65 years and older undergoing abdominal surgery. Simple and non-invasive measurements performed in the preoperative period will be used to obtain CPO values and to evaluate whether these measurements are helpful in predicting postoperative morbidity and mortality. No additional procedures beyond routine clinical care will be performed as part of this observational study. The findings of this study may contribute to a more accurate assessment of surgical risk and help improve patient safety in the perioperative period.

Predictive Value of Frailty Scores and Admission Laboratory Markers for Postoperative ICU Mortality
This prospective observational study aims to evaluate the predictive value of the Clinical Frailty Scale (CFS), the Katz Activities of Daily Living (ADL) scale, and admission laboratory markers for postoperative mortality among geriatric patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) after surgery. Frailty assessment and functional status are increasingly recognized as determinants of outcomes in older adults, yet their combined predictive power with routine laboratory parameters at ICU admission remains unclear. By systematically collecting clinical scores and laboratory data at the time of ICU admission, this study seeks to identify early predictors of mortality and support risk-stratification in geriatric postoperative patients.

The Effects of Anesthesia Type on the Prognosis of Hip Fracture Surgery on Elderly Patients
The aim of this study is to figure out whether anesthesia type have an influence on the prognosis of hip fracture surgery.30-day mortality and morbidity after the surgery are our main observational index, and according to literature and our experience, regional anesthesia may have a better prognosis after hip fracture surgery compared with general anesthesia.
