Agreement Between ChatGPT-5 and Anesthesiologists in Preoperative Risk Assessment: ASA Classification
Accurate preoperative risk stratification is essential for perioperative planning, resource allocation, and patient safety. The American Society of Anesthesiologists Physical Status (ASA-PS) classification remains the most widely used global system for assessing preoperative health status. However, ASA classification relies on clinician judgment and may demonstrate inter-observer variability. Recent advances in artificial intelligence (AI), particularly large language models (LLMs), have shown potential for assisting clinical decision-making by synthesizing structured and unstructured medical information. In perioperative medicine, AI systems may support more standardized risk assessment and laboratory testing strategies. The objective of this observational study is to evaluate the agreement between ASA classifications assigned by anesthesiologists and those generated by a large language model (ChatGPT-5) using anonymized preoperative clinical information. The study will also examine differences in laboratory test recommendations and explore the relationship between clinician- and AI-generated risk assessments and perioperative erythrocyte suspension utilization. Adult patients scheduled for elective surgery who undergo routine preoperative anesthesia assessment will be included. For each patient, the ASA classification assigned by the anesthesiologist will be recorded and compared with the classification generated by the AI system using the same anonymized clinical information. This study aims to assess whether AI-assisted preoperative evaluation may support more consistent risk stratification and potentially contribute to more standardized perioperative resource utilization.

Airway Ultrasound vs Clinical Predictors for Difficult Airway
This prospective observational study aims to evaluate the diagnostic value of airway ultrasonography in predicting difficult intubation in adult patients undergoing elective surgery under general anesthesia. Preoperative sonographic measurements of upper airway structures will be compared with conventional clinical airway assessment parameters such as the Mallampati score, thyromental distance, and sternomental distance. The study seeks to determine whether ultrasonographic measurements can serve as independent predictors of difficult airway and whether combining them with clinical parameters improves diagnostic accuracy. Additionally, the correlation between sonographic findings and the Intubation Difficulty Scale (IDS) will be analyzed to assess the potential clinical utility of airway ultrasound in preoperative airway evaluation.

Comparison of the Effects of Preoperative Anesthesia Evaluation on Preoperative Anxiety Using Anxiety Scales and Evaluation of Patient Satisfaction
To measure the degree of preoperative anxiety with the STAIT, APAIS and VAS anxiety scales before and after the preoperative anesthesia evaluation in patients who applied for preoperative anesthesia evaluation for elective surgical procedures and to investigate prospectively the effect of the preoperative anesthesia interview on anxiety and to evaluate patient satisfaction.

Association Between Preoperative Anxiety and Blood Eosinophil Levels
In the studies, the presence of preoperative anxiety has been evaluated and reported with anxiety scales. The presence of anxiety and allergic diseases has also been examined in a limited study with the analysis of neuroendocrine cells. In this study, it was planned to support the eosinophilia response in peripheral blood accelerated by stress-related anxiety with anxiety scales. In patients who apply to the anesthesia clinic before surgery, the preoperative anxiety level will be measured with the STAIT(The State-Trait Anxiety Inventory Test) and APAIS (The Amsterdam Preoperative Anxiety and Information Scale) scales performed before the anesthesia evaluation and the relationship with the eosinophil count in the patient's complete blood count analysis will be evaluated.

Evaluation of Perioperative Anesthesia Requirements of Outpatient Cataract Patients
According to the literature, preoperative evaluation has been shown in studies to be the first step in ensuring that patients' anesthesia care is carried out safely. In cataract surgery, which is a day anesthesia procedure frequently observed in the geriatric population, topical-local anesthesia is mostly applied. It is believed that preoperative anesthesia evaluation will be beneficial due to the complications that may develop during the procedure, patient safety and therefore the duration of postoperative hospital stay. The aim of the study is to evaluate patients who may need anesthesia intervention among patients whose preoperative anesthesia evaluations have been completed due to the possibility of consultation from the anesthesia department if necessary for patients who will undergo cataract surgery with local-topical anesthesia.

Effects of General Health Risk Factors on Prolonged Hospital Stay
According to the literature, a detailed preoperative anesthesia assessment systematically verifies perioperative risks, provides functional and physiological optimization, improves the patient's condition and the perioperative process, and prevents complications. In this context, the investigators aimed to determine the frequency of lifestyle risk factors in patients who applied to investigator's clinic for preoperative anesthesia assessment due to adult gastrointestinal endoscopy, to investigate the relationship between lifestyle risk factors and factors and outcomes during the anesthesia procedure, and to compare the effects of these risk factors on developing complications and hospital stay.

Systematic Screening for Obstructive Sleep Apnea During Preoperative Consultation Using AI-preoperative Agents
The goal of this observational study is to evaluate the feasibility of a systematic screening protocol for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) during preoperative anesthesia consultations in adults aged 50 and older undergoing elective surgery. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does the systematic screening protocol increase the proportion of patients identified as being at high risk for OSA compared to standard care? * What is the impact of systematic screening on postoperative outcomes, including complications, length of stay, and mortality? Researchers will compare standard care practices (before implementation) to the systematic screening protocol (after implementation) to determine the effect on OSA detection rates and clinical outcomes. Participants will: * Complete the STOP-BANG questionnaire during their anesthesia consultation. * (Optional) Have a facial photograph taken to analyze morphometric characteristics that may correlate with OSA risk. * Be referred for further diagnostic testing if identified as high-risk for OSA.
