Intercultural Adaptation and Validation of the Ukrainian Quality of Recovery-15 Questionnaire

The Quality of Recovery 15-questionnaire (QoR-15) is used to assess postoperative quality of recovery after surgery and anesthesia from the patient's perspective. It evaluates five dimensions including pain, physical comfort, physical independence, psychological support, and emotional state. The aim of this study is to validate a Ukrainian version of the QoR-15 scale (QoR-15Ukr) to measure postoperative recovery in Ukrainian-speaking patients.

Identification of Possible Trigeminal Neuralgia

Trigeminal neuralgia (TN) is a severe type of non-dental orofacial pain that can feel like sudden electric shocks in the face and is often mistaken for tooth pain or other dental problems. This can lead to delays in referral and unnecessary, sometimes irreversible, dental treatment. The goal of this observational study is to evaluate how well a new questionnaire (IDentification of possible Trigeminal Neuralgia - IDTN) identifies adults with possible trigeminal neuralgia among patients attending hospital clinics with orofacial pain, with the aim of supporting its use in dental and general medical practice to improve early recognition and referral. The main questions it aims to answer are: * How accurately does the IDTN questionnaire identify patients with possible trigeminal neuralgia compared with the specialist clinical diagnosis? * Which combination of questionnaire items best supports a practical screening score for use in dental and/or general medical practice? Participants will: 1. Complete the IDTN questionnaire before their clinical appointment (either electronically or on paper) 2. Undergo their usual specialist clinical assessment, during which the final diagnosis will be recorded 3. Allow the research team to compare questionnaire responses with the specialist diagnosis (the reference standard) A subset of participants will also be asked to complete the questionnaire again a few days later to assess test-retest reliability.

IR Beam Used Before Peripheral Intravenous Catheter Application on Vein Visibility

The study will be conducted in the Oncology and Cardiovascular Surgery (CVS) services of a university hospital. In the research, 30 patients will constitute the control group and 30 patients will constitute the experimental group. A nurse working in the clinics where the study will be conducted will perform the PIVK procedure, and we will randomly select the control and experimental groups and apply light to the area where the PIVK will be applied to the patients in the experimental groups with a flashlight that emits infrared rays for 10 minutes. The nurse will not be aware of whether the radiation application was made to the patient or not. The veins will be evaluated by the nurse performing PIVK. We will fill out the necessary forms in ANNEX 1 (control group) and APPENDIX 2 (experimental group) while the PIVK procedure is applied. After the procedure is completed, the patient's pain, anxiety and satisfaction level during the procedure will be marked. The data will be entered into the SPSS program and evaluated with statistical tests. According to the results, the effect of IR rays used before PIVK application on the patient's pain, anxiety and satisfaction and on the procedure time spent by the nurse for the application will be determined.
