Philips FAST SpO2 Technology With Masimo Sensors for SpO2 Monitoring in the Neonatal, Infant, and Pediatric Populations
The objective of this study is to verify the form, fit and function of the Philips FAST technology with Masimo neonatal, infant and pediatric sensors for SpO2 monitoring in the respective indicated populations. The study design uses convenience sample data collection from neonatal, infant, and pediatric sensors within their respective indicated patient populations that have a range of different skin pigmentations, simultaneously with an FDA cleared pulse oximeter as a comparator.

THE EFFECT OF SURGICAL MASK AND N95 MASK USE ON SURGICAL SMOKE IN OPERATING ROOM NURSES
This study was conducted to compare the effect of surgical mask and N95 mask use on physical symptoms due to surgical smoke in operating theatre nurses. The study, which was conducted in a single-group prospective quasi-experimental design, was completed with 38 nurses in the operating theatre unit of a state hospital in the Western Black Sea Region. Data were collected for four weeks using the Descriptive Information Form, Numerical Rating Scale and Symptom Follow-up Form. According to the findings, muscle weakness, myalgia in the upper extremities and muscle cramps were statistically significantly less in nurses using N95 masks. Respiratory parameters, watery eyes and redness were significantly lower in nurses using surgical masks. As a result, it was determined that the type of mask was effective on the incidence of physical symptoms related to surgical smoke.

Project Mountain - Comparing SpO2 and SaO2 for Accuracy
The main goal of this study is to look at the performance of the neonatal, infant, and pediatric Philips SpO2 sensors with the Philips FAST Pulse Oximetry technology. Oxygen saturation measurements (SpO2) will be obtained via pulse oximetry and invasive arterial oxygen measurements (SaO2) will be obtained via arterial blood samples as part of your clinical care and assessed by co-oximetry. The study will aim to enroll a diverse population to help us understand the impact of skin pigmentation.
