Bite Force Recovery Following Pediatric Full Crown Restorations
A component of masticatory function is bite force. Dental caries is one factor that contributes to poor dental health, which has an overall negative influence on quality of life. Caries has a detrimental after effect of functional impairment. this study aims to evaluate how children occlusal bite forces are affected by complete dental care. thirty children with dental caries in their primary molars, ages 5 to 8, of both sexes will be included. Occlusal force gauge was used to measure the occlusal bite force in the vicinity of primary molars both before and after restorations. A statistical analysis was performed on the collected data

Periodontal Biocompatibility of Pediatric Crowns
Different full-coverage crown materials are widely used in pediatric dentistry for the restoration of primary teeth with extensive substance loss. Since these restorations remain in close contact with gingival tissues for prolonged periods, they may influence periodontal health depending on their surface characteristics, marginal adaptation, and biological properties. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of stainless steel crowns (SSC), prefabricated zirconia crowns (PZC), and fiber-glass crowns (FGC) on periodontal health in children using both clinical periodontal parameters and gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) biomarkers, including IL-1β and MMP-8, within a split-mouth study design.

Digital Occlusal Analysis and Bite Force Evaluation of the Hall Technique Vs Stainless Steel Crowns in Primary Molars Using T-scan
This randomized controlled clinical trial aims to compare two restorative techniques for managing carious primary molars in children aged 6-9 years: the Hall Technique and conventional stainless-steel crown (SSC) placement. The study evaluates how each technique affects occlusal force distribution, mean bite force, and vertical dimension changes using the T-Scan digital occlusal analysis system. Additional outcomes include temporomandibular joint assessment, child discomfort levels, and parental satisfaction with treatment. Participants are allocated 1:1 to receive either the Hall Technique or conventional SSC restoration, and outcomes are measured at baseline, immediately after treatment, and at 2- and 4-week follow-ups. The study aims to determine whether the minimally invasive Hall Technique provides comparable occlusal function and patient-centered outcomes when compared to traditional SSC preparation methods.
