NCT06639503
Genicular Nerve Block After Open Reduction Internal Fixation of Tibial Plateau
The investigators are conducting this research study to find better ways of treating pain following knee surgery. There is a standard (accepted) approach, which involves injection of numbing medication into the area around the participant surgical incision. The investigators hope to discover if providing numbing medication to a nerve that controls pain in a larger area of the knee (a nerve block), might be better at post-operative pain control.

EFFECT OF EARLY WEIGHT BEARING AND ACTIVE KNEE EXERCISES IN TREATMENT OF TIBIAL PLATEAU FRACTURES
This study will answer the following research questions: Are there any significant differences between combination of early active knee ROM exercises and weight bearing versus early passive ROM with delayed weight bearing on pain intensity, ROM knee flexion and extension, function, and radiological healing in treatment of patients with TPFs fixed with plates and screws?

Role of Multimodal Analgesia in Decreasing Perioperative Pain in Tibial Plateau Fractures
The investigators goal of the proposed research study is to determine the effectiveness of periarticular multimodal analgesia in the setting of tibial plateau fractures. Effectiveness of the multimodal analgesia is defined as lower pain scores.

Posterior Column Fractures of Tibial Plateau
The goal of this observational study is to learn about the long-term effects of internal fixation methods in patients with posterior column fractures of tibial plateau according to three column concept. The main question it aims to answer is: Does the internal fixation of posterior column fractures of tibial plateau according to three column concept has a good radiological and clinical outcomes in follow up for 1 year? Participants already having internal fixation for their posterior column fractures will do X ray in their follow up visit and answer survey questions about their joint pain, ROM for 1 year.

Knee Osteoarthritis in the Region of Norrbotten
The goal of this observational study is to assess the prevalence of radiographic knee osteoarthritis and to report medium and long term functional outcomes secondary to tibia plateau fractures. The second aim was to investigate whether there were any risk factors associated with these outcomes.
