Survival and Success of CAD/CAM Restorations After 5 Years of Intraoral Use
This study evaluates the survival and success rates of dental restorations fabricated exclusively using CAD/CAM technology over a period of 5 years. The study will involve placing CAD/CAM restorations using a digital workflow that includes intraoral scanning, computer-aided design (CAD), and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM). The restorations will be monitored for factors such as marginal adaptation, wear resistance, and patient-reported outcomes. The goal is to determine the long-term clinical effectiveness of CAD/CAM restorations compared to traditional methods. The findings aim to improve the understanding and application of digital dental technology in clinical practice.

Clinical Comparison of Different Adhesives in NCCLs
The aim of this randomized, controlled, prospective clinical trial is to evaluate the performances of a universal adhesive in three different application modes, a self-etch adhesive and an etch\&rinse adhesive in restoration of non-caries cervical lesions. Thirty-four patients will receive restorations. Lesions will be divided into 5 groups according to adhesive systems and application modes: CU-SE: Clearfil Universal Bond Quick in self-etch mode, CU-SLE: Clearfil Universal Bond Quick in selective etch mode, CU-ER: Clearfil Universal Bond Quick in etch\&rinse mode, CSE: Clearfil SE Bond, TB: Tetric N-Bond. Restorations (Tetric N-Ceram composite) will be scored with regard to retention, marginal discoloration, marginal adaptation, recurrent caries and post operative sensitivity using modified USPHS criteria after 48 months. Two examiners who is not involved in the placement of restorations will conduct the evaluations. Descriptive statistics will be performed using Chi-square tests.

Evaluation of 2-year Clinical Performance of Two Different Single Color Universal Composite Resin Restorative Materials.
Dentists have recently preferred to use composite materials and restorative techniques that allow the use of simplified clinical protocols in order to reduce the time the patient spends in the dentist's chair and minimize technical sensitivity. Color selection in the clinic is a very sensitive process and is affected by environmental factors and operator-related variables. This has led to the development of single-color universal composite resins that aim to facilitate color selection. These materials have a universal opacity and several Vita shades and are recommended by manufacturers to be used in a single color layer that can match different tooth colors. In recent years, monochromatic universal composites have been developed that are supposed to be compatible with all Vita Classic Scale shades from A1 to D4. Manufacturers report that single-color universal composites can be applied to teeth of all colors without using the layering technique using different color composites. Therefore, the aim of this study is to compare the clinical performance of 2 different single-color universal composite resin materials (OMNICHROMA and Zenchroma) in the restoration of non-carious cervical lesions with the control group (Filtek Z250, 3M), which is a multi-color composite resin material, using modified US Public Health Service (USPHS) and World Dental Federation (FDI) criteria.

Prevalence of Tooth Wear and Its Association with Oral Health-related Quality of Life
The aim of this study is to detect the prevalence of tooth wear (All forms of cumulative surface loss of mineralized tooth substance loss due to physical and chemico-mechanical process according to the definition of the European Organization for Caries Research (ORCA) and the International Cariology Research Group for Dental Research (IADR) i.e.: attrition, erosion and abrasion) among middle aged adult patients attending educational hospital at the Faculty of Dentistry, Cairo University and to analyze the distribution of lesions by gender and age, frequency of acidic foods and drinks consumption, medicine usage, chewing habits, systemic diseases, tooth brushing habits, and family socio economic status. Moreover, to evaluate the quality of life among middle aged elderly patients in relation to existence of tooth wear. The study focuses on middle-aged adult patients (31-45 years) attending the Faculty of Dentistry at Cairo University during 2025-2026. It is an analytical cross-sectional study aimed at assessing the prevalence and risk level of tooth wear using the Basic Erosive Wear Examination Index (BEWE). The BEWE categorizes tooth wear into four levels (0 = no wear, 3 = severe wear), and risk levels are determined by the cumulative score. Primary outcome: the prevalence of tooth wear and associated risk levels. Secondary outcomes: identifying predictive risk factors and assessing the Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP) for patients diagnosed with tooth wear. All participants will be examined, and those with a BEWE score above 0 will be considered affected. Risk levels will be stratified as no risk, low, medium, or high.

Stress and Tooth Structure Loss in Dental Students.
The study is designed as a pilot study. The primary objective of the current study is to collect data on the expression and progression of tooth structure loss in dental students under stressful conditions and different dietary habits using intraoral scanners (IOS). Stress levels will be evaluated using Percived Stress Scale (PSS-10). Eating habits will be queried using reflux and dietary questionnaires. The data obtained will later be used in the case-control design of a multicenter study on the same topic. Conducting the pilot study will allow for a critical evaluation of the study's design, participant retention rate, and recruitment process.
