Splinting vs Exercise in De Quervain's Tenosynovitis
De Quervain's disease is a painful tenosynovitis of the abductor pollicis longus and extensor pollicis brevis muscle tendons located in the first dorsal compartment. The primary treatment for De Quervain's disease is conservative; surgical intervention is rarely required. Currently, there is no standardized treatment protocol supported by strong, up-to-date evidence. The aim of this study is to compare the effectiveness of a static hand-wrist resting splint and exercise therapy in the conservative treatment of De Quervain's tenosynovitis. Patients will be evaluated in terms of pain levels, functional/symptom status, hand-finger strength, pressure pain threshold (PPT), tendon cross-sectional area measured by ultrasound, and the presence of effusion findings (semiquantitative; 0-3), and patient satisfaction.

Masseter Muscle Thickness in Individuals With Chronic Neck Pain
The primary objective of our study is to compare the thickness of the masseter muscle, measured by ultrasound, in individuals with chronic neck pain to that of healthy individuals. The secondary objective of the study is to examine the relationships between masseter muscle thickness and pain intensity, neck disability level, pain catastrophizing level, and clinical diagnostic criteria in individuals with chronic neck pain.

Ultrasound Examination of the VMO in Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome
The aim of this study is to examine in detail the ultrasonographic characteristics of the vastus medialis obliquus and vastus medialis longus muscles in individuals with patellofemoral pain syndrome and to compare these findings with those of healthy individuals. It is anticipated that the results obtained will contribute to a better understanding of the muscle-based mechanisms of PFAS and provide a scientific basis for the development of muscle-specific assessment and intervention strategies in physical therapy and rehabilitation practices.

Combined Ultrasonographic Skin-to-Epiglottis Distance With Modified Mallampati Versus Modified Mallampati Score Alone in Predicting Difficult Laryngoscopy During Tracheal Intubation Under General Anesthesia
This study will evaluate how well an ultrasound measurement of the distance from the skin to the epiglottis, when combined with the modified Mallampati score, can predict difficult laryngoscopy in adult patients undergoing elective surgery under general anesthesia. Adult patients scheduled for surgery requiring tracheal intubation will be randomly assigned to two assessment strategies before anesthesia: one group will have the usual bedside airway assessment with modified Mallampati alone, and the other group will have modified Mallampati plus a quick, painless ultrasound scan of the front of the neck to measure the skin-to-epiglottis distance. During intubation, the anesthesiologist, who is blinded to the preoperative assessments, will grade the laryngoscopic view using the Cormack-Lehane classification, and the investigators will compare how accurately each assessment approach predicts difficult laryngoscopy (grade 3-4). The study does not change how anesthesia or airway management is performed; ultrasound and clinical assessments are added solely for measurement and data collection, with minimal risk to participants and potential future benefits in improving airway risk stratification and patient safety.
