Exploring the Clinical Value of an AI-Assisted Patient Self-Assessment App for Bowel Preparation: A Multicenter Study
The quality of bowel preparation hinges on how well patients follow the prep-drug regimen, so intensive education is essential. Phone calls, texts, short videos, and mini-programs have all been shown to boost compliance and improve prep quality. Still, we also need a way to spot-early-those patients who are likely to prep poorly so we can step in with a rescue plan. In our pilot work the investigators built an AI-assisted mini-program that lets patients photograph their effluent and get an instant quality read-out. The single-center RCT showed excellent performance. Because these findings came from one center, the investigators are now launching a multicenter study to test the tool more broadly. Patients will use the AI mini-program at home; if the algorithm predicts inadequate prep it will prompt them to come in early or alert staff so the investigators can initiate a rescue protocol and, ultimately, improve bowel-cleansing quality.

The Impact of GLP Medication on Colonoscopy Bowel Preparation Quality
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn how GLP-1 and GIP agonists effect bowel preparation in patients scheduled for colonoscopies. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does GLP-1 and GIP agonist increase the rate of inadequate bowel preparation? * Does the quality of bowel preparation differ in patients who hold vs. those who continue a single dose of their GLP-1 or GIP agonist medication? * Are there any differences in the rates of complications gastric aspiration in patients who hold vs. continue a single dose of their GLP-1 or GIP agonist medication?

Intestinal Preparation in Colonoscopy: Lactulose vs Sodium Phosphate.
To compare intestinal preparation with Lactulose vs. Sodium Phosphate as the better agent for performing high-quality colonoscopies at the Civil Hospital Fray Antonio Alcalde and the Civil Hospital Juan I. Menchaca, both in Guadalajara, Mexico; as well as Hospital Santo Tomás in Panama City, Panama; and Hospital Gustavo Nelson Collado Ríos in Chitré, Panama; during the period from April 1, 2025, to November 30, 2025. The comparison will focus on colonoscopy quality, patient tolerance, satisfaction, and electrolyte changes, using the agents orally as part of the bowel preparation prior to the colonoscopy procedure.

Efficacy, Safety and Tolerability of Magnesium Sulfate With Low-volume Polyethylene Glycol for Colonoscopy Cleansing
Magnesium salts such as magnesium citrate are often combined with polyethylene glycol to make the intestinal preparation before colonoscopy, which has shown high cleaning efficacy. Magnesium sulfate combined with polyethylene glycol is less used in the world. This multicenter, randomized, controlled trial is aimed at to evaluate the efficacy and safety of magnesium sulfate combined with low-volume polyethylene glycol for preoperative bowel preparation for colonoscopy.

A Study to Investigate the Effect of a Meal At 6pm the Day Before the Colonoscopy on the Bowel Cleansing with Plenvu
Bowel cleansing prior to colonoscopy is crucial to be able to perform a high-quality examination. Therefore maximum efforts are made to achieve optimal bowel cleansing including diet restriction and refraining from day-before dinner. However, the effect of this interdiction is currently not clear. On the other hand, patient compliance and experience with the entire procedure is important, especially for follow-up colonoscopies. Strict diets may interfere with this as an additional burden on the patient. In this study we want to assess whether a more lenient diet influences the quality of bowel preparation and whether it improves patient's experience.
