Intracoronary Cryotherapy Effect on Stabilization of Vulnerable Plaque in Patients With (N)STEMI or Unstable Angina
The POLARSTAR study is an early safety and feasibility study to evaluate the performance and safety of the CryoTherapy System (CTS) for the treatment of coronary plaque lesions that are not obstructing blood flow but are at high-risk of rupture which would cause a major heart attack. The CTS is used to apply local freezing of the lesion using a balloon catheter, controlled by a console that regulates in- and outflow of a cooling agent into the catheter. The treatment is expected to stabilize the lesion, diminishing the risk of rupture. The study will enrol subjects with acute coronary disease who have suitable coronary lesions. Subjects will be followed for 1 year after the CTS treatment. Baseline identification of lesions will be done using Coronary CT-angiography (CCTA), which will be repeated at 3 and 9 months after procedure.

AI-Powered ECG Detecting Culprit Vessel Blood Flow Abnormality in ACS
AI ECG TIMI is an investigator-initiated, international, and multicenter registry of acute coronary syndrome patients aimed to identify electrocardiographic findings detected by an AI model predicting coronary blood flow alteration. The aim of the study is to identify electrocardiographic findings detected by an automated artificial intelligence (AI) model that can predict coronary blood flow alteration as assessed by the TIMI grade flow at the very moment of the invasive coronary angiography in patients with acute coronary syndromes.

Multicenter Study on Cardiovascular and Metabolic Complications in Patients With Biochemically Silent Pheochromocytomas and Paragangliomas
The aim of the study is to characterise the cardiovascular and metabolic complications pre- and post-surgery of patients with biochemically negative PPGL and to compare them with normal individuals and patients with secreting PPGLs age and sex matched.

Comparison of Conventional and Non-Conventional CRF and Their Association With Acute Coronary Syndrome
This research aims to compare conventional and non-conventional cardiovascular risk factors and their association with Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS). Conventional risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, smoking, and family history are well-established contributors to ACS. However, emerging non-conventional risk factors-including elevated inflammatory markers , homocysteine levels, lipoprotein(a), psychological stress, and lifestyle factors-are gaining attention for their potential role in cardiovascular events.

A MAajor RAdiation-based PCI Study in STEMI and NSTEMI
In France and Italy, approximately 240,000 percutaneous coronary angioplasties (PCI) are performed annually, with an increasing number of complex procedures, including those involving the left coronary common trunk, a bifurcation, chronic occlusion, or requiring Rotablator Rotary Atherectomy (ARota). The medical literature lacks sufficient data regarding several key aspects of complex angioplasty. These include the epidemiological characteristics of patients undergoing such procedures, the impact of irradiation delivered and the quantity of iodine injected on these lengthy procedures, their procedural complication rate, and in-hospital mortality.

Body Composition Estimated by Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome.
This study addresses the critical issue of obesity and its impact on patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). While obesity is a known risk factor for cardiovascular diseases, emerging evidence suggests that obese patients with coronary artery disease may have better survival outcomes-a phenomenon known as the \"obesity paradox.\" Our research aims to explore this paradox by examining the body composition of ACS patients using bioimpedance analysis (BIA). We will evaluate parameters such as lean mass, body fat, and fluid volume to assess their relationship with clinical outcomes, including mortality and the incidence of heart and kidney failure. By focusing on body composition rather than just BMI, this study seeks to provide a more accurate understanding of how these factors influence patient outcomes. Conducted at a major hospital in Argentina, the study will contribute valuable insights into the role of body composition in the prognosis of ACS, potentially informing more personalized treatment strategies.

Clinical Cohort Study - INTERCATH
Within a CAD patient cohort there is a wide variability of clinical manifestation and severity of coronary disease. Distinct determinants that would explain the variety of CAD phenotypes with differing prognosis are yet undiscovered. Aim of this study is to find genetic variants, biomarkers, and clinical cardiovascular risk factors that relate to specific coronary artery disease phenotypes and related pathologies in a patient population.
