Evaluating the Implementation and Impact of Standard-of-care Delivered Oncology Financial Navigation

The purpose of this study is to understand the implementation and impact of a pragmatically-delivered oncology financial navigation program. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. How did oncology financial navigation implementation strategies affect implementation outcomes? 2. What is the impact of financial navigation on patient financial hardship, quality of life, and psychological distress? 3. How were implementation strategies utilized to overcome barriers to oncology financial navigation? Researchers will examine secondary, standard-of-care collected, patient-reported data, electronic medical record data, and qualitative interview data to answer these questions.

Lifestyle Counseling vs. Clinical Pilates in Women With Temporomandibular Disorders

The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the effectiveness of lifestyle counseling alone compared to lifestyle counseling combined with Clinical Pilates in women with temporomandibular disorders (TMD). The study also aims to examine the effects of these interventions on pain, jaw function, posture, oral behaviors, psychological status, sleep quality, and quality of life. The main questions this study aims to answer are: Does adding Clinical Pilates to lifestyle counseling reduce pain levels in women with TMD more than lifestyle counseling alone? Does the combined intervention improve jaw function, head posture, and oral behaviors? What are the effects of these interventions on anxiety, sleep quality, and quality of life? Researchers will compare lifestyle counseling alone with lifestyle counseling combined with a supervised Clinical Pilates program to determine whether the addition of Clinical Pilates provides greater clinical and psychosocial benefits. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups: * Receive lifestyle counseling only (control group), or * Participate in a supervised Clinical Pilates program twice weekly for 8 weeks in addition to lifestyle counseling (intervention group) Undergo assessments at baseline (before any intervention) and after completion of the interventions. Outcome measures will include assessments of pain, jaw function, posture, oral behaviors, psychological status, sleep quality, and quality of life.

Structured Contraceptive Counseling During Pregnancy

Unintended pregnancy is common among women of fertile age, and also among those who have recently given birth. A Swedish study has shown that about 7.7% experience a new pregnancy, and that 2.5% will have an abortion between 12-24 months from childbirth. This is a prospective observational intervention study, aiming to evaluate the effects of structured contraceptive counseling during pregnancy on uptake of contraception postpartum and more specifically on long-acting reversible contraceptive methods, and to identify and explore the provider's and patient's experiences of structured contraceptive counseling during pregnancy.

Childhood Obesity Treatment Designed for Low Income and Hispanic Families

This study is a type-1 hybrid effectiveness-implementation RCT comparing a novel family-inclusive childhood obesity treatment program, the "Healthy Living Program" (HeLP), to a protocol that enhances usual primary care to deliver Recommended Treatment of Obesity in Primary Care (RTOP). Children with obesity and their families will be referred to the study by primary care providers and randomized to HeLP or RTOP. The clinical setting is a practice-based research network serving majority Hispanic and Medicaid-insured populations. The intensive phase and booster sessions of HeLP will take place at recreation centers located near the clinics and will be led by health educators employed by the clinics. Visits with primary care providers (PCPs) for HeLP maintenance or RTOP will occur at the clinics.

Filling Gaps in the HIV Pre-exposure Prophylaxis Cascade Through Counseling

This study s objective is to test the acceptability and feasibility of a guide to facilitate counseling about HIV prevention, focusing on HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). PrEP is a medication taken by HIV-negative persons to avoid an HIV infection. Healthcare providers (including but not limited to physicians and nurses) who see gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (GBM) will be randomly assigned to completing a short online training versus continuing their usual activities. The online training consists of modules containing brief information about PrEP, and about how to address concerns and difficulties that GBM face to get PrEP and to take care of their sexual health. The investigators will ask healthcare providers to answer questionnaires before and after the research activities take place, and a member of the research team will interview some of them at the end. Every time a healthcare provider has a counseling session with a GBM, they will facilitate putting a research coordinator in touch with the person receiving the counseling. Those GBM will also be asked to fill out questionnaires. These activities will take place in the province of Ontario, Canada.
