Effect of an Educational Session for Abortive Women on Maternity Nurses' Practices

The goal of this study is to evaluate the effect of structured educational sessions for abortive women on the practices of maternity nurses. The study aims to enhance nurses' clinical skills and patient care related to abortion management. Participants will: Attend educational sessions designed to improve nursing practices Participate in activities and discussions led by experienced instructors Be observed before and after the sessions to assess changes in clinical practices The study will compare nursing practices before and after the intervention to determine the overall impact of the educational sessions on professional performance and patient care quality.

Planetary Health and Environmental Justice in Construction Career Education

This study tests whether a new educational curriculum can help high school students in construction career programs better understand how building design affects community health and environmental justice. The study compares two approaches: (1) a new "Community-Centered Design" curriculum that uses the Ecosystem Justice Translator (EJT) software tool, which helps students see connections between construction decisions, energy efficiency, nature exposure, and health outcomes in different neighborhoods; versus (2) the traditional construction career curriculum that focuses on technical skills. Students aged 14-18 enrolled in construction career programs will be randomly assigned to one of these two groups. Over 6 months, the intervention group will learn to use the EJT tool and apply environmental justice concepts to construction projects. Researchers will measure how well students understand connections between construction, environment, and health at the start, middle, and end of the program, and again 6 months later. The goal is to determine if integrating environmental justice and health concepts into construction education improves students' awareness of how their future work can help or harm community health, particularly in disadvantaged neighborhoods.

Smart-SABI: Digital Phenotyping of Stroke Access Barriers

This study aims to identify and quantify the non-clinical barriers (social, transport, and knowledge-based) that delay patient arrival at the hospital during an Acute Ischemic Stroke. By utilizing a multimodal approach that combines a validated patient questionnaire (SABI Tool), Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis, and biological markers (infarct volume), the investigators seek to develop a Machine Learning model capable of predicting high-risk phenotypes for pre-hospital delay. The ultimate goal is to validate "Social Determinants of Health" against objective biological outcomes.

iLookOut Micro-learning to Improve Knowledge Retention

This project investigates whether a multi-faceted strategy involving iLookOut's evidence-based Core Training plus an innovative follow-up Micro-Learning can promote knowledge retention and change behavior among early childhood professionals (ECPs) with regard to child abuse and its reporting. Additionally, this study will evaluate if non-ECPs experience similar improvements and retention of knowledge and changes in behavior as do ECPs.
