Safety and Performance, and Dose, of OsteoAdapt DE in Localized Alveolar Ridge Augmentations

This study's objective is to evaluate OsteoAdapt DE's safety and performance in comparison to Xenograft particulate bone graft for alveolar ridge augmentation. Additionally, the study aims to optimize OsteoAdapt DE dosing for future studies by assessing two concentrations: a low dose (0.8 mg/cc) and a high dose (2.0 mg/cc).

Wound Healing Following Extraction and Ridge Preservation in Smokers and Non-smokers

The goal of this study is to evaluate bone wound healing following extraction and alveolar ridge preservation (bone graft and membrane) clinically, histologically and in relation to gene expression in smokers and non-smokers. Data from a small group of participants will be analyzed after age-matched subjects undergo extraction and alveolar ridge preservation prior to implant placement. The data obtained in this pilot study will be used to plan a full-fledged study involving a larger number of smoking and non-smoking participants to compare the two groups.

Autogenous Tooth Bone Graft for Alveolar Socket Preservation

The purpose of this clinical experiment is to assess how well autogenous tooth bone grafting preserves the alveolar socket after surgical tooth extraction. Before being inserted into the socket, the graft is made from the patient's own extracted tooth and ground into a particle. Twenty Yemeni patients who needed their teeth extracted are included in the trial, and they will be followed up with clinical and radiographic procedures using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) for six months. The primary objective is to ascertain whether the autogenous dental bone graft can preserve the height, width, and density of alveolar bone, offering a secure, affordable, and biocompatible substitute for traditional grafting materials.

Determinants of Bone Dimensional Changes After Extraction and Alveolar Ridge Preservation

The main purpose of the study is to measure and localize immediate post extraction changes i.e. socket expansion versus no width change along the socket wall and identify whether the immediate post-extraction ridge width condition (expansion or no change) is a determinant of buccolingual ridge width and height changes 4 months following extraction and ridge preservation.

Impact of Nd:YAG Laser Photobiostimulation on Healing of Gingiva

The intervention in this study is to determine whether multiple applications of photobiostimulation with Nd-YAG laser improve wound healing following tooth extraction and alveolar ridge preservation. Investigators plan to assess the impact of laser treatment on wound healing by measuring salivary biomarkers, gingival wound size and surveying for the use of pain reduction and patient satisfaction. The intervention group will receive extraction and alveolar ridge preservation with Nd-YAG laser photobiostimulation on days 1, 3, and 7 following extraction and socket preservation, while the control group will receive the standard of care extraction and alveolar ridge preservation without the laser

Improving Healing in Children After Tooth Extraction Using Laser Therapy or Hyaluronic Acid

Tooth extraction may be an unpleasant and painful experience for children, Post-extraction wound healing. Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is a widely used adjuvant treatment for wound healing, resulting in both an increase in cell number and an increase in cell metabolism. HA it is an important component of the extracellular matrix and a constituent of the neural, connective, and epithelial tissues.
