Postural Habits, Body Awareness, and Functional Performance Across BMI Categories in Women
This cross-sectional study aims to investigate the relationship between postural habits and body awareness with functional performance across different body mass index (BMI) categories in women. Participants will be categorized into four groups based on BMI (normal weight, overweight, obesity class I, and obesity class II-III). Postural habits and awareness, body awareness, and functional performance will be assessed using validated questionnaires and performance-based tests. The study also aims to explore the potential contribution of central adiposity (waist circumference) and psychological factors to these relationships. Findings are expected to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the biomechanical and perceptual factors associated with obesity.

A Study of the Effect of a Nurse Navigator Program on High Risk Patients
The purpose of this study is to examine if educational intervention in high risk patients can lead to decreased hospital readmissions when compared to patients who are not in the intervention program. Additionally, to determine patient satisfaction with the educational program.

Partners in Children's Health (CSN): A Randomized Trial of an Attachment Based Intervention
The goal of this randomized controlled trial is to evaluate the impacts of an attachment-based intervention (Attachment Biobehavioral Catch-Up (ABC) and Home Book-of-the-Week (HBOW) program on emerging health outcomes (i.e., common childhood illnesses, body mass index, and sleep) in low-income Latino children (N=260; 9 months at enrollment). It is hypothesized that children randomized to ABC will have better health outcomes in comparison to the HBOW control group.

Lifestyle and Its Association With Maintaining Health
This study is part of the LIFEHEALTH project and will be carried out in five Mediterranean European Union countries: Croatia, Greece, Italy, Slovenia, and Spain. The aim of this study is to assess adults' lifestyle habits and how they relate to their physical and mental health. Respondents in each country will be invited to complete an online questionnaire. The survey will ask about consumption of the Mediterranean diet, physical activity, sleep habits, stress perception, mental health, social relationships, and overall health. Each country will include about 500 participants to ensure a representative sample of adults living in Mediterranean regions. The questionnaire will be translated into local languages and participation is voluntary. Multiple linear or logistic regresion wil be used to assess relation between variables. These analyses will help identify which factors are most strongly linked to health outcomes. The results of this study will help researchers describe current lifestyle patterns in the Mediterranean population. They will also examine how different lifestyle habits are linked to physical and mental health. The findings may support public health initiatives and help plan future research to improve health and well-being.

The Effect of Body Weight on Physical Activity Level, Functional Capacity, Balance, and Quality of Life in Individuals With Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
This study aims to investigate the effects of body weight on physical activity level, functional capacity, balance, and quality of life in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). A total of 50 volunteer patients who meet the inclusion criteria will be recruited from the Internal Medicine and Nutrition outpatient clinics of Bezmialem Vakıf University Hospital. Participants will be prospectively evaluated through face-to-face interviews. Assessments will include body composition analysis (Omron Body Composition Monitor), waist-to-hip ratio, lower extremity muscle strength (Muscle Hand-Held Dynamometer), grip strength (Hand Grip Dynamometer), physical activity level (International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short Form), functional capacity (6-Minute Walk Test), balance (Biodex Balance System), clinical balance (Berg Balance Scale), and quality of life (Nottingham Health Profile). All statistical analyses will be performed using IBM SPSS Statistics 20. With this study, we aim to comprehensively evaluate multiple parameters in individuals with T2DM and investigate their interrelationships, thereby contributing to the current body of knowledge in the literature.

The Role of Oxygen Reserve Index (ORi) in Apneic Ventilation
Background: The Oxygen Reserve Index (ORI) is a non-invasive parameter utilizing multi-wavelength pulse co-oximetry. ORI can provide early warnings of deteriorating oxygenation before changes are reflected in SpO₂ levels. This study aimed to investigate the feasibility of non-ventilated intubation in patients undergoing cholecystectomy as a means to achieve safe intubation without nasogastric tube placement, with reduced trauma and cost, and improved time efficiency.

The Effect of Symbiotic Beverage Consumption on Lipid Profile
The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate whether the synbiotic beverage "Daygurt" can improve lipid profiles, blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and body weight in individuals diagnosed with dyslipidemia. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does "Daygurt" significantly reduce total cholesterol and LDL levels compared to nutrition counseling alone? Does "Daygurt" increase HDL levels and reduce triglycerides more effectively than nutrition counseling? Does "Daygurt" lead to greater improvements in fasting blood sugar, blood pressure, and body weight compared to nutrition counseling? The intervention group (receiving "Daygurt" plus nutrition counseling) will be compared to the comparison group (receiving nutrition counseling without "Daygurt") to see if "Daygurt" provides additional benefits beyond standard dietary advice. Participants will be divided into 2 groups: Intervention group: Consume "Daygurt" daily for 8 weeks. Comparison group: Receive nutrition counseling sessions focused on managing dyslipidemia but will not consume "Daygurt." Both groups will undergo health parameter measurements before and after the intervention, including: Total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, and triglyceride levels. Fasting blood sugar. Blood pressure. Body mass index (BMI).

Clinical Profile of Skin Aging Based on Dermoscopy Photoaging Scale and Glogau Scale - Study of Leucocyte Telomere Length, Biomarker P16, and Body Mass Index
To determine the relationship between clinical appearance, dermoscopic examination results of photoaging profiles based on clinical examination, DPAS score and leucocyte telomere length, to analyze the relationship between BMI, waist circumference, triglycerides, and cellular senescence biomarker p16 levels with a population experiencing skin aging and having Fitzpatrick III-V skin types. The questions which is aim to be answered are: 1. What is the photoaging profile based on clinical examination results in skin aging cases? 2. What is the photoaging profile based on DPAS scores in skin aging cases? 3. What is the leucocyte telomere length profile in skin aging cases? 4. What is the relationship between leucocyte telomere length and clinical examination in skin aging cases? 5. What is the relationship between leucocyte telomere length and DPAS degree in skin aging cases? 6. What is the profile of cellular senescence p16 biomarker levels in a population that has experienced clinical skin aging with Fitzpatrick III-V skin types? 7. What is the skin aging profile based on the Glogau and DPAS scales in a population with Fitzpatrick III-V skin types? 8. Is there a relationship between the results of the cellular senescence p16 biomarker examination and clinical skin aging assessed based on the Glogau and DPAS scales in a population with Fitzpatrick III-V skin types? 9. Is there a relationship between the results of BMI, waist circumference, and triglyceride examinations with clinical skin aging assessed using the Glogau and DPAS scales with Fitzpatrick III-V skin types?
