Nanozymes in Endodontics
The antimicrobial efficacy and healing potential of clinically approved ferumoxytol nanozymes versus the standard 3% NaOCl irrigant will be evaluated in adults undergoing endodontic treatment. Building on prior protocols that demonstrated ferumoxytol nanozymes antimicrobial activity as a root canal irrigant, ferumoxytol solution will be applied topically, assessment of clinical and radiographical findings will determine its potential as a novel disinfection and its long-term outcome.

A Randomized Controlled Trial Evaluating Whether Pre-operative Trinase Reduces Post-operative Pain in Patients With Symptomatic Irreversible Pulpitis Compared to Placebo, Using VAS Scores and Analgesic Intake Over 48 Hours.
This study aims to determine whether Trinase, an enzyme-based anti-inflammatory medication, can reduce pain after root canal treatment in patients with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis. A total of 182 male patients aged 18 to 50 years who present with moderate to severe tooth pain will be randomly assigned to receive either a Trinase tablet or a placebo 30 minutes before treatment. All root canal procedures will be performed in a single visit using standard endodontic techniques. Pain levels will be measured on a Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) before treatment and at 6, 12, 24, and 48 hours after treatment. Patients will also record the number of pain-relief tablets they take during the first 48 hours. The goal of the study is to see whether Trinase can lower post-operative pain and reduce the need for analgesic medication compared with placebo. This information may help improve pain management for patients undergoing root canal therapy.

The Antimicrobial Potential of Diclofenac Sodium as an Intracanal Medicament
The goal of this randomized clinical trial is to evaluate the capability of the material to exert bacterial reduction of diclofenac sodium versus of that calcium hydroxide paste when these materials are used as intracanal medications in permanent molar teeth with chronic apical periodontitis. The main question\[s\] it aims to answer are: • Will the diclofenac sodium (NSAIDs) possess antimicrobial efficacy to be used effectively as an intracanal medicament similar to that of calcium hydroxide in primary endodontic treatment? Participants will be allocated randomly into three equal groups by using computer generated randomization, according to the type of intracanal medication.

Effect of Photobiomodulation to Reduce Post-operative Pain After Endodontic Surgery
The objective of this study will be to evaluate if photobiomodulation (FBM) can reduce postoperative pain in patients who will undergo endodontic surgery. For this randomized, controlled and double-blind clinical study, 34 patients without comorbidities who need endodontic surgery in the upper jaw (15 to 25 teeth) will be recruited. They will be randomly divided into an experimental group (n = 17) photobiomodulation (808nm, 100 mW, and 4J/cm2 with 5 points per vestibular). Applications will be made in the immediate postoperative period and 24 hours after surgery. Control group (n = 17) a FBM simulation will be performed in the same way as in the experimental group. In this group, the required analgesia will be administered within the standard with ibuprofen. Both groups will perform the necessary conventional procedures considered the gold standard in the literature. Both the patient and the evaluator will be blinded to the intervention performed. The primary outcome variable of the study will be postoperative pain, which will be assessed using the visual analog scale at all postoperative control visits (baseline, 24 hours and 7 days). As for the secondary outcome variables, the amount of systemic medication received according to the patient's need (will be provided by the investigator).. Radiographic images will be obtained after 1 and 2 months for evaluation of the repair (dimensions of the lesion, radiopacity). These radiographs will be taken digitally with the positioners implemented. Edema, ecchymosis, and evaluation of soft tissues in the anterior portion of the intra and extra-oral maxilla will also be evaluated. In addition, a digital thermometer. These parameters will be evaluated 24 hours and 7 days after the intervention. The X-rays will be taken in the 1st and 3rd month respectively.

The standard clinical dental images consist of radiographs, such as bitewings, periapical, panoramic, cone-beam CT, and medical CT, as well medical MRIs of the temporomandibular joints (TMJ).The conceptualization of research questions, study designing, and interpretation of imaging data has and will involve content expertise in all ddMRI research.

Effect of Different Irrigation Solutions on Postoperative Pain and Lesion Healing
In this study researchers plan to conduct, three different irrigation solutions that are responsible for the release of growth factors necessary for the success of regenerative endodontic treatments will be used. These solutions; Ethylene Diamine Tetra Acetic Acid (EDTA), Etidronic Acid and Citric Acid. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of different irrigation solutions used in regenerative endodontic treatment of necrotic open apex molar teeth on postoperative pain. Endo-perio Disease - Treatment Outcomes Using Conventional and Hydraulic Calcium Silicate Sealer With or Without LPRF
The endodontic periodontal-disease is characterized by the involvement of the pulp and periodontal disease in the same tooth. The anatomic connections between the dental pulp and the periodontium provide a pathway for perio-endo communication via apical foramina, lateral canals, exposed dentinal tubules, and developmental grooves. These pathways provide an egress for pulpal disease to affect the periodontium and conversely, an ingress for periodontal disease to affect the pulp. Teeth with endo-perio disease, which are deemed salvageable might require root canal (endodontic) treatment, followed by staged periodontal treatment. Compared to conventional sealers used for endodontic treatment, the hydraulic calcium silicate based sealers (HCSB)s have excellent sealing ability, biocompatibility, regeneration ability, and antimicrobial characteristics. However little is known about its clinical benefits when used to treat endo-perio disease. The gold standard treatment for periodontitis affected teeth associated with intrabony lesions is guided tissue regeneration (GTR) which has significant improved clinical outcomes over open flap debridement (Cochrane systematic review 2005). However, the success the of this regenerative technique requires careful case and defect selection. We propose the use of an autologous bioactive scaffold, leukocyte platelet rich fibrin (L-PRF) to achieve regeneration of periodontal soft and hard tissues, resulting in faster healing, greater bone infill and improved predictability of clinical outcomes

Outcome of Endodontic Treatment and Retreatment With a Bioceramic Sealer
This study is a prospective randomized controlled study of patients who come to the University. The aim is to evaluate the success rate of treatment and retreatment of canals using BioRoot ™ RCS cement compared with AH Plus up to 6 years of follow-up. The null hypothesis is that there will be no statistically significant differences in rates of successful treatment of root canals filled with BioRoot ™ RCS compared to gutta-percha and AH Plus sealer.

Outcome of Endodontic Retreatment in One or Two Visits
This study is a prospective randomized controlled study of patients who come to the University and non-surgical root canal retreatment is considered as the election of choice in presence of periapical disease. The aim is to evaluate the success rate of non-surgical retreatment performed in one compared to two visit treatment up to 10 years of follow-up. The null hypothesis is that there will be no statistically significant differences in rates of success, when performing root canal non-surgical retreatment in one or two visits.
