Topical Cryotherapy and Keloid/Hypertrophic Scars
The goal of this clinical trial is to determine whether the application of brief topical cryotherapy immediately before intralesional corticosteroid injections can reduce pain and injection resistance during routine treatment of keloid and hypertrophic scars in adult patients. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does topical cryotherapy applied before intralesional triamcinolone injection impact pain perceptions for participants with keloids or hypertrophic scars? Does topical cryotherapy affect provider-assessed injection resistance compared with standard injection alone? Researchers will split the keloid/hypertrophic scar into two halves. One half will be treated with cryotherapy followed by steroid injection, while the other half will be treated with steroid injection alone to evaluate differences in pain perception and injection resistance. Participants will rate pain after each injection using a 10-point numeric pain scale. Clinicians will rate the resistance after each injection using a 10-point numeric scale.

Comparison of Intralesional Triamcinolone Versus Verapamil for Keloid Treatment
This study aims to compare the efficacy of intralesional triamcinolone and verapamil in patients presenting with keloid at our local setting. The results will guide us towards better management of keloids by choosing the more appropriate treatment. Adequate treatment will reduce significant emotional and physical distress in patients. We hypothesized that mean reduction in Vancouver Scar Score is higher in triamcinolone acetonide group compared to verapamil after three months of treatment.

The Effectiveness of Intralesional Botulinum Toxin A and Triamcinolone Acetonide Injections in Keloid Treatment
Keloids are benign fibrous tissue overgrowths that extend beyond the boundaries of the original wound and tend to recur after therapy. The exact pathogenesis of keloids is not fully understood; however, the role of TGF-β leads to an imbalance in collagen synthesis and degradation, while VEGF increases vascularity. Enhanced vascularity contributes to increased fibroblast activity. Angiogenesis is heightened in wounds subjected to high tension. Active keloids are characterized by low vascular velocity, low elasticity, and varied echogenicity depending on the filling tissue, as observed on ultrasonographic examination. Intralesional TA injections at 40 mg/ml are an available option for keloids, but this therapy is associated with various side effects. Intralesional TB-A injections at 5 U/cm³ have been reported to demonstrate good efficacy, safety, tolerable side effects, and high patient satisfaction for keloid management. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a study comparing the effectiveness of intralesional TB-A injections at 5 U/cm³ with intralesional TA injections at 40 mg/ml in keloid patients. Scar assessment can generally be conducted objectively using various tools or subjectively through different measurement scales. The Japan Scar Workshop (JSW) developed a measurement scale known as the JSW scar scale (JSS).
