NCT07340554
Neuroimaging of Adolescent Cannabis Use Treatment
This study is testing whether brain activity related to learning can help predict how well teens respond to a treatment program designed to reduce cannabis use. Teens ages 14-17 will complete a brain scan and then take part in 10 weekly virtual sessions where they report cannabis use and complete drug tests at home. Participants can earn prizes for staying cannabis-free.

Marijuana's Impact on Alcohol Motivation and Consumption
This laboratory study will employ a repeated measures experimental design to examine the effect of high (7.2% THC) and moderate (3.1% THC) dose of marijuana, relative to placebo, on alcohol craving and on behavioral economic measure of alcohol demand after exposure to alcohol cues, and on subsequent drinking in an alcohol choice task in which participants choose either to drink or receive monetary reinforcement for drinks not consume. The study will recruit 173 non-treatment seeking heavy episodic alcohol drinkers who smoke marijuana at least twice weekly.

Probing the Cannabinoid System in Individuals With a Family History of Psychosis
The overall purpose of this study is to determine whether a family history of psychosis is associated with an altered cannabinoid system. This will be tested by studying individuals with and without a family history of psychosis and comparing their responses to delta 9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a probe of the cannabinoid system. We hypothesize, that compared to controls with no family history of psychoses, individuals with a family history of psychoses will have an altered response to THC.

THC Memory & Reward Learning Pilot
Tetrahydrocannabidiol (THC) is the psychoactive chemical in cannabis that makes people high. This study aims to dissect acute impairment of various forms of memory and learning by THC in cannabis compared to placebo. Impairment will be assessed via a short cognitive test battery and then subjects will complete four tasks in the fMRI scanner.
