Combined Effects Of Stability Oriented Breathing Exercises and Kegel's Exercises in Postpartum Women
The postpartum period often presents challenges such as increased inter-recti distance (diastasis recti), lumbopelvic pain, and reduced core strength. This study is designed as a randomized controlled trial to evaluate the combined effects of stability-oriented breathing exercises and Kegel exercises on inter-recti distance (IRD), lumbopelvic pain, and muscle strength in postpartum women. A total sample size of 66 participants per group was determined with a 10% dropout rate accounted for. The study will use a non-probability convenience sampling technique. It will be conducted at the University of Lahore Teaching Hospital and Sehat Medical complex. Inclusion criteria include women aged 18-40 years, with a history of cesarean sections, an IRD between 3-5 cm. Outcome measures include IRD , pelvic floor muscle strength, lumbopelvic pain (measured using a 10 cm numeric pain scale). Participants will be randomly assigned to either Group A (Kegel-only) or Group B (Kegel + breathing exercises). Both groups will train three times weekly for eight weeks. All data analysis will be performed using SPSS version 27.

Investigating the Effects of Time-of-day and Menstrual Cycle Phase (Low and High Progesterone) on Female's Cognitive and Strength Performance
This study is designed to determine whether time-of-day and menstrual cycle phase influence athletic performance and is expected to contribute valuable insight into how both time-of-day, and hormonal factors can influence performance and expand existing research. This study aims to support more inclusive, effective and personalised approaches to training and competition schedules for female athletes. The study will involve two testing days that require a participant to complete a compilation of tests at 07:00, 12:00 and 18:00 hours. The testing days will be arranged for when a participant is in phase 1 (lowest levels of progesterone in the menstrual cycle) and phase 4 (highest level of progesterone in the menstrual cycle). The tests will examine a participant's executive function and physical strength. This study will aim to recruit thirty 18-30-year-old females from Lancaster University who identify with a sport that they train \~3 times a week for with a purpose to compete. The females recruited must have a regular menstrual cycle and no history of sleep disorders. Aim: To investigate the effects of time-of-day and menstrual cycle phase (low and high progesterone levels) on executive function and strength in females. Objectives: 1. To determine the effects of time-of-day on executive function and strength tests. 2. To determine the effects of menstrual cycle phase on executive function and strength tests. 3. To examine if there is an interaction between time-of-day and menstrual cycle phase on executive function and strength tests.

Effects of Root Extract Ashwagandha (KSM-66) on Physiological Stress, Perception of Recovery and Muscle Strength in Youth Elite Footballers
This trial examines if six weeks of taking 450 mg Ashwagandha root extract affects exercise performance and recovery in youth male elite football players. Ashwagandha root extract is increasingly used by athletes, but controlled research in adolescent athletes is limited and the majority of evidence is in an adult population. This study will assess short-term responses in youth players. Participants will be randomly assigned to take either Ashwagandha root extract or a placebo once daily for six weeks. Players will complete training-based tests, provide saliva samples and complete a short, validated questionnaire on perception of wellness. Any adverse events will be documented and reported.

Effects of Dynamic Taping on Shoulder Isokinetics Strength and Muscle Fatigue.
Maintaining shoulder stability requires good neuromuscular control. Imbalances in shoulder internal and external rotator strength may increase the risk of shoulder injuries in overhead athletes, and the compromised fatigue resistance of the external rotators may worsen this imbalance during sports activities. Additionally, poor scapular neuromuscular control is associated with shoulder problems, such as shoulder impingement syndrome. Previous research has shown that individuals with shoulder impingement syndrome exhibit poor scapular motion control and altered corticomotor control. Poor scapular motion control, pain, functional impairment, and changes in corticomotor control interact to form a vicious cycle. Various treatments have been attempted to improve neuromuscular control, including taping. Most past studies have focused on the efficacy of rigid tape and kinesio tape, while dynamic tape has gained popularity in recent years. Due to its material properties, dynamic tape is theoretically able to absorb loads, provide force, and correct movements. However, there is currently a lack of evidence supporting the effectiveness of dynamic tape. No research has yet explored whether dynamic tape can provide force to increase muscle strength and reduce fatigue or whether its movement correction functions can improve neuromuscular control and corticomotor control. Therefore, this project plans to conduct an experiment to investigate the effects of dynamic tape on external rotator strength and fatigue in recreational overhead athletes, as well as its impact on neuromuscular control and corticomotor excitability in recreational overhead athletes with shoulder impingement syndrome. In the experiment, 37 healthy recreational overhead athletes will participate in three testing sessions spaced one week apart, receiving kinesio tape, dynamic tape, and sham tape. After taping, they will perform fatigue-inducing activities. Isokinetic strength of internal and external rotators will be measured before taping, after taping, and after fatigue-inducing activities to observe the effects of dynamic tape on muscle strength and fatigue compared to kinesio tape and sham tape.

Effects of Plyometric Exercises in Female Fast Bowlers
Cricket is one of the most popular team sports in the world. Bowling action is an extremely skilled activity that has been developed over many years of practice. Physiological variables and an imbalance between the agonist and antagonist muscle groups are important risk factors for development in high skill bowlers. Exercises known as plyometric training use explosive motions to build muscle mass and improve aspects of physical fitness. Ballistic six plyometric exercises have been shown to improve performance in medium-paced cricket bowlers by increasing bowling velocity.This randomized controlled trial will be conducted in Pakistan Sports Board Lahore. This study will be completed in 10 months after the approval of synopsis. Non-probability convenient sampling technique will be used. Inclusion criteria will include female fast bowlers with age group between19 to 27years who are active team members of their respective leagues without the presence of injuries and whose composite score will be greater than 75 on star excursion balance scale will be included. Any participant post-elbow or shoulder surgery within one year of the study's pre-test or presenting with a history of elbow or shoulder injury or pain within one year of the study's pre-test will be excluded. The study will be conducted in two groups. Group A (14 players) will receive 8 weeks of upper and lower body plyometric exercises protocol. The session will last for 60 minutes and 3 times per week.10-15 mints warm up before plyometric exercises and 1-minute rest period is there between each exercise and each repetition and 3-5 minute for each set. Group B (14 players) will receive their standard exercise protocol. The session will last for 60 minutes and 3 times per week. Vertical jump test for lower extremity strength, 3-Hop test for lower extremity power and Star excursion balance test for dynamic balance is performed at the start of exercise protocol and in the end. After data collection data will be analyzed using statistical package for social sciences SPSS version 21.

Update on the Detection of Frailty in Older Adults
The main objective is to update the diagnostic assessment of frailty by correlating several variables with the ultrasound image of the frail elderly patient. Secondarily, the investigators intend to collect and analyze data on functional capacity and quality of life variables on the evolution of musculoskeletal symptoms, as well as on pain and psychological variables. Similarly, it is intended to make a record of different profiles and subtypes of frail older adult patients to be stored in Machine Learning in order to establish therapeutic intervention plans that allow both the evaluation and treatment of patients.

Use of GI BIOTICS 100B UFC to Improve Intestinal Health in Older Adults
Type of study: Clinical Trial. Main objective: To study the effect of daily consumption of the probiotic (GI BIOTICS 100B UFC) on intestinal inflammatory markers, intestinal microbiota, intestinal health, body composition and sports performance in older adults for 8 weeks. Participant Population/Health Conditions: The study will involve 44 sedentary men with a body mass index \> 25 kg/m2 and aged between 60 and 75 years. Participants Will: Be randomised into one of two groups: consumption of a placebo capsule (comparison group) and consumption of GI BIOTICS 100B UFC daily for a period of 8 weeks (experimental group). Provide feces and blood samples before and after the 8-week intervention. Undergo analysis of these samples using advanced techniques to understand the effect of the consumption of the probiotic. Undergo a submaximal stress test and muscle strength will be measured using a handgrip dynamometer.
